Vassell’s splash brother.
Yea he is a steal when you drafted Joshua Primo
The offense is there but I don’t think anyone could have predicted that the defense would be so so bad.
One of the guys that can’t possibly still be on the roster next season. Wait a minute. Hold my beer!
Sadly, best take in the thread
Well this year we probably have 3 more picks in a similar range to 2022. Hopefully we can do better than the Sochan, Branham and Wesley trifecta.
How Spurs fans still think we are elite at drafting and developing is some real snifferism.
Whoever they draft Spurstalk will overrate the player's value.
He didn't work out.
The amount of ing and whining about this guy on this board is astounding. Just move the on. If you want to waste your time constructively (I doubt it), go back to that draft and see who was available at that stripe.
Collins and Branham aren't in the long term plans. Move. The. . On.
I didn’t know Branham played last night
Threads deserve to get bumped up. Quite often people around here can be correct (I wasn't one of them as I didn't know nothing about Malaki when he was drafted), but I did give him a chance and wanted him to succeed. Having said that, after last season I was pretty much done with him, I'd seen all I needed to see. Before the start of this season, though, I did not want his option picked up, same with Blake Wesley. I was thought Primo sucked, I was mad as a MOFO when the Spurs gave Pau Gasol and Patty Mills those huge contracts. A lot of us were right about certain signings, yet, how does a professional front office that gets paid to make smart decision make some of the most egregious signings and decisions. I hated Demar as a player from day 1 of the trade, I didn't like the move to having Bryn Forbes start (I thought Bryn was an OK player at first, but didn't think he was ever starter level).

Branham and Wesley's contracts will basically be expirings this summer. Neither appears to have a long-term future with the Spurs, even at a very low salary. In the meantime they can be useful contracts to include in a trade for matching purposes. Yes there is a downside to picking up the options but it's rather small.
Collins's contract was a much worse decision. A two year deal at $22M per year but a team option on year 2 would have made far more sense.
you dont even understand what you are looking at. there is a plan for him.
kill yourself
Imagine ing about people ing. Makes you Mr .
he used the wrong formula but got the right answer
One thing this thread proves: we should all listen to DAF86 more.
Odd, I don't see your user name in the this thread before this comment.
Spurs fans have moved on.
It's the front office that hasn't moved on.
Some guys are driven to improve and show up with something new every year. Some guys are happy to skate by on their talent, get their paychecks and fail to improve.
Most of the time, hard work is the difference between who is great and who is not.
Anybody who says they can tell which player will turn out which way is likely a liar.
IDK when I see Sochan's shot I can't help but think of this motivational poster.

Fair. Do we think Sochan has legitimately spent two off seasons working on his three pointer? I don't think anyone worked on their game other than Mamu and Champagnie.
the two guys drafted right after him
Of course you don't. Because I thought he was a scrub from day one. So why would I post in a thread with people saying he was a "steal" of a draft pick?
