you folded,,,,,we all saw it,,,,good night, princess,,,,,
Nah, the only thing that works with you so called conservatives is the exact type of flexing I do. I pay way more in taxes than you, and have a way higher net worth. These are facts. Asking me to dox myself to prove them is meaningless, you live in a fact-free world, anyway, so even if I did you'd just change the subject. Reality is, though: plenty of us have WAY more money and power than you, and we're small time. Imagine what a like Elon or Trump would think of you, yet you worship them with feverish intensity

I've never been a braggart but it's all that works with your type. So go on, ask for proof ... never proving you say

The Magic Negro came into his Presidency with 4 million dollars. He left that Presidency 8 years later with over 71 million dollars.

    Let us proceed...

Gave away the Panama Canal for one. Authorized a disaster of a "hostage rescue" without checking the weather for sand storms.

Is the president supposed to check the weather?

    And the canal?

uhhh...as Commander in Chief it would be reasonable to question about the conditions before authorizing the operation. As I remember it was planned for the "new moon" (dark) but it coincided with a huge dust storm.

And yeah, he gave away the Panama Canal.

The canal zone was ours after 1903 until Carter gave it away.

it was a squirrelly deal, it followed a US backed/funded coup. Bunau-Varilla had been out of Panama for seventeen years when he signed the treaty that bears his name, and he never lived there afterwards.

In the long run both Panama and the United States suffered from the ambiguities of the Hay-Bunau-Varilla treaty. While it may be argued that Bunau-Varilla had the authority to negotiate the treaty, he violated the letter and spirit of his instructions and took it upon himself to judge what was best for Panama. Moreover, once the treaty was written, he did not permit the Panamanians to study it. He deliberately misled them as to the urgency of the situation, and in his machinations he was abetted by Hay. In effect, Panama had no voice in the treaty. Though Bunau-Varilla was really a “third party,” he dealt unfairly with the country he supposedly represented. And the United States, which accepted the windfall, became and remains the object of Panama’s resentment.

I was aware of the creation of Panama with our help and the ambiguity of the treaty but bottom line, It was ours until we gave it back.

even John Hay said it was needlessly favorable to the USA, the US was prepared to offer the same deal they gave Colombia. according to the linked article, Bunau-Varilla was afraid it wouldn't pass the US Senate, so he tilted it maximally to the US instead.

Bunau-Varilla worked with DeLesseps, he had already been a Panama Canal maniac for decades before 1903

Why did you want to keep it?

Should we have kept the Philippines too?

    Cuba?

    Haiti?

How big did you want the empire to be?

Seriously, it's pretty important to be able to move military ships back and forth from the two oceans. Only way to guarantee that is to own it.
