when I moved to SA in ‘17 my realtor said that Leonard bought 2 lots in the Dominion to build on. One for himself and the other for his Mom/family.
Rumor in my neighborhood was that homie was building a house a couple of lots over from mine back when I lived in SA but then backed out of it when the injury stuff happened (tbh, I blame myself for the fallout. Had Kawhi moved in, we would have become bff's and he would have been a Spur for life). Looks like Zillow has taken down the listing photos, but it was a really cool house. Zillow estimates it's worth $1.4MM now, which is pretty high end for San Antonio. Gets you a cute little bungalow here in Maui![]()

I was wondering why I had read Kawhi had to miss a game or so due to having to check on family/house. So Kawhi has a gameday house? I thought I read a couple of years ago that he'd fly in from wherever he lives in San Diego (not sure how far away that is from where the Clippers used to be, and where their new area is now as I don't know US geography). Does this house allow him to not have to fly in for games all the time?
Also, darn, so he wasn't looking to leave San Antonio initially? It sounds like if he was building a house, he was planning to stay. I always thought it was both he and his uncle's intention to leave. Does his mom still live in SA, or did she end up moving back to California?
So you're not in SA anymore, Scott? Would have been super cool if you lived that close to Kawhi and could have maybe become friends with him.
Yeah I left SA in 2019. Kawhi and Danny Green also used to frequent a business I used to own... so many opportunities for me to have salvaged that. It's all my fault, guys.
Darn, as long as it turned out good for you, I guess that is all that matters. Who knows, maybe you could have made some sort of difference or not. Would have been interesting to see what would have happened if it didn't go so bad between Kawhi and the Spurs. DG didn't deserve to get shipped off either IMO, but he got a couple of Championships out of it, so I'm sure he doesn't regret getting moved.
Wow you owned Rick's Cabaret? We miss you, man.
I mean it couldn't have possibly turned out better than not paying for the TOSB phase of Kawhi's career and then getting Wemby tbh.
Well it worked out great for me and thankfully we have Wemby now - so the universe got it all sorted out!
Per ESPN all of the missed games over the past few days have been rescheduled except for the Spurs game against the Lakers.
Rescheduled Games
The four NBA games postponed last week -- three by wildfires in the Los Angeles area and one by a winter storm in Atlanta -- have caused nine games to be rescheduled. One still has yet to be rescheduled.

Wemby is in a different league for the TV lords.
ESPN probably hoping to get it rescheduled for the last game of the season and hoping it has playoff seeding implications so they can milk the out of an extra broadcast they didn't originally have planned.
I think it’s more that there’s a huge block of time already allocated for the Paris games, and they may be struggling to find a spot.
Not the biggest fan of Balmer but this is a pretty considerable move. Balmer donated double what all other LA sports franchises gave combined. Very generous. Donated more than Walmart.
Connie and Steve Ballmer share that they are contributing $15 million towards wildfire relief efforts while highlighting Altadena in particular
