You even said it before, Castle showing more poise, maturity and even dog in him than Wemby is a bit problematic for me. Is this his response to being posterized by Morant while going 5-19? Goes way too invisible in a game offensively for someone with his size. Multiple games with zero FTs or offensive rebounds speak for a lack overall aggression and a desire to win ugly if needed

Castle may or may not develop a jump shot in a couple years, but even if he does, we don't really have enough in the pipeline. And anyway, we are waiting for Vic to get physically stronger before he can metaphorically carry us, and that's gonna take some time too.

I agree on that aspect of his personality, I hope it's just part of the process/his age and he'll stop being a nice guy all the time (with his teammates included)
However, I think people don't realize that what he's doing on a regular basis isn't normal and shouldn't even be expected. It's an insane task to have to carry every game this roster and be the center of attention/game plan of every teams for a sop re.
I genuinely think he's exhausted and I'm still challenging anyone to name one player that has to carry a bigger load on both ends combined.
Let's not be greedy nor miss the real issues. Not expect him to be a cheat code all the time
They've proven they don't really have the best eye for talent so best we can hope for is a serviceable player like Castle. We desperately need a second option and i don't trust this organization to draft that guy.
The 8th position will give the spurs a chance at a top 4 pick. Need that top 4 pick this year in a top heavy draft.
