Vassell has major durability issues
Has an unprecedented 3 days off for Pairs and surprise his legs are under him and his shot is snapping the net pretty well today.
Same thing with the fire game in LA with the 4 or 5 days off was it? Vassell played well in that game too. But you'll never get these long breaks for intl travel or PPD for wildfires, it's rare. What happens in playoffs when the intensity gets tougher and recovery gets shorter.

Spurs clock awareness is terrible, number of times they were extremely close to a 24 sec violation and it doesnt even seem like they were aware

It easy to fall for the false hope, you're kind of even doing it by saying he's been solid for the past few weeks, he really hasn't. Even timGPT has been cranking out C- and Ds as of late.
Today, however, he has been fantastic.

I'm wondering if Wemby keeps his hands down on defense to trap opponents into shooting (to improve his block stats).
I feel like he should have his hands up way more.

Wemby A- took some plays off defensively otherwise great
Barnes B+ playing his role, not trying to do too much, team high +/-
CP3 B kind of a meh game, deferring too much but couple of sweet passes
Vasselline A whoa, where has this guy been, couple of defensive lapses but shooting lights out and aggressive into the mid-range
Castle F what in the actual what that?
Mamu C not much impact, couple of hustle plays
Champ C- no impact
Sochan A about as best as you can expect from him, even hit a 3, solid on the boards and under the glass
KJ0 D couple of putbacks but can't shoot, can't avoid tunnel vision, liability on D
Tre B+ very solid half of basketball with Castle ting the bed
Castle needs to have a short memory tonight
CP3 had a wide open layup and passed it out...smh

wtf is this defense. Spurs continually getting switched and have Barnes/Vassell/CP3 guarding Siakam or Turner
He attempted 12 layups all season long.
Just the nature of our team. Wemby can't guard everyone, no matter who gets switched, it's going to be a mismatch
Tbh, Pacers have been on a tear as of late, defense isn't doing that bad, it's all about preventing them from getting hot from 3pt.
CP3 is cooking his man on the perimeter when they switch on him, but he's afraid to shoot in the paint
