Good thing the front office knows a thing or two about winning most trades.. BTW, some of you should get off your knees. You hate on Mr. Wright in one breath but beg for the favorable possible outcomes his deals might yield! You can’t have it both way’s.

The big picture is with the ATL free fall both PHI and CHI are firmly in play in contention. That gives them more incentive to win than SAS, who are unlikely to make the play in with a similar record.

Also let’s not forget the idea of trading up, for example package 11 pick from CHI and ours or the ATL pick in a two for one for a higher pick. Ideally leaving us with a top 4 pick and possibly two.

Barring a can’t say no trade, bringing in some top pick rookies while churning the bottom of the roster makes sense. Probably not a quick fix but adding two players of Castle’s caliber or better, even if rookies, would be legit.

I also think that there are plenty of later picks, possibly even the Spurs own SRP, that would be roster upgrades.
