I don't think there's even been a scrub who has said they'd only extend with SA.
Different from Zach Collins saying "only SA will extend me"
Despite questionable sources, I'm going to go ahead and give them somewhat of the benefit of the doubt: I think this either is imminent or doesn't get done until the off season and that zero core players will be traded.
Reason being, based on various reports, it seems this has been in the works for a while and it's got to be killing the staid Spurs to be in the spotlight like this.

Even though the local sources are a clown car, I do think a multiple team deal at this point makes the most sense...especially if San Antonio is holding their ground and not willing to deal Vassell or Castle. There is an above average chance they simply feel like they don't have to because of the cir stances surrounding Fox.

pretty good. i dont see what sacto gets out of rushing to make a deal. fox isnt toxic for them right now. unless its part of a bigger multi-team deal where theyre getting stuff like john collins or cam johnson or both
if im sacto, id at least wait it out until the deadline and see if i get better offers, or at least bluff SAS into giving just a bit more to get it done.
now if its a multi-team deal, the other parties might not want to wait and lose a deal
