Wonder what they'd be giving up though tbh.
yeah they're not exactly pick-rich right now

they want to unload bogi/capela but cant see why NOP would want those types of guys. perhaps Hunter, who has actually been good for once?

my guess is Sacramento wants Hunter. ATL might get their pick back from us to send Hunter to the Kings. Keep in mind ATL owns the Kings pick. They could package that one for Ingram. Really funny that we own ATL's picks and they own the Kings 25

I'm amazed how well the servers have held up with people constantly refreshing tbh.
They were actually updated, but timvp decided to keep the retro theme.

    Local Sacto reporter.

Vassel then give the Bulls some picks to include Patrick Williams. Send Keldon or Zollins to Chicago.

I don’t believe Spurs Report guy but one little detail where it makes sense with local guys here possibly: Spurs and Kings and the local guys have lots of relationships built up over YEARS.

Don Harris knows Mike Brown (which is great also because for Spurs to like Fox, Brown would undoubtedly have been asked about his work ethic, talent etc.), Alvin Gentry (this is key relationship for information IMO) etc…so someone like him who definitely knows key players within Kings or around Kings stands to reason he could be getting very direct and good info here.
Apparently, Fox and Brown were spotted having dinner not long after Brown's firing. They're close and Fox had nothing to do with his departure

My thinking is the Spurs already told Sac Castle is not going to be traded. If Castle was involved in any offers this trade would have been done already.

Castle is who the Kings want. Spurs playing the trade offers in their favor and Sac are not biting yet.

Shouldn't Jeff McDonald being the beat reported for 15 or 20 years mean something? Can't this guy break a story, ever? If there was one media member on earth whose entire job could be done by chatgpt it's gotta be him
He doesn't see himself as an investigative reporter (true story), just as a beat writer (aka Spurs's PR)

I don't care what we do, as long as Castle isn't included.

my guess is something like this

ATL 25 back to the Hawks
Kings get CHI 25 plus their swap back
SAC 25 pick owned by ATL to Pels plus CHA25 or a gang of second round picks from Spurs

*edit: now that I'm thinking about it, SAC could get their own 25 pick back from ATL if ATL gets their own 25 pick back from the Spurs. The SAC pick is 1-12 protected.

I like the Chicago 3-way but with SAC finally landing Lavine. We give CHI their pick back and they get off that albotross.

    Hear me out...

Spurs get Fox as cheaply as possible, only giving up SA26 (which would be the best of SA/ATL), SA30 (which would be the best of SA/DAL/MIN) and returning the SAC31 Swap along with Devin and Keldon. We keep SA25, ATL25, and ATL27 which are the biggest wins. Spurs Waive/Injured Melton.

Kings turn Fox into two "win now" players, which they and their fans claim they want. They get their swap back.

Nets take back tank commanders and get two actually good FRPs for Cam Johnson. I specifically chose 2026 and 2030, because the Nets already have multiple FRPs in every other year.

To me, this is as close to optimal as possible.

    What about something like:

    Spurs Get: Fox, Theis

ATL Gets: Brandon Ingram + Tre Jones + 2nds

    NO Gets: Capela + Huerter + 2nds

SAC Gets: Sexton + Collins + Bogdan + ATL 25 + Their Swap Back

UTA Gets: Keldon + Zach Collins + Lyles + ATL 27

I feel like this goes on until the 6th or doesn't happen at all. In other words, expecting something today seems unlikely to me.

Any trade scenario with NOP needs to result in them getting under the tax line. That will be a top priority for them.

You are correct. Dusty Garza and Don Harris just have everyone whipped into a frenzy with their clickbait.
