They are playing great without Luca and Lively is out for a while. There has to be more that happened behind the scenes. If Fatty isn't sticking to his rehab they might have decided he isn't worth a giant contract.
Keith Smith on the front office show saying Luka did not ask to be traded, the Mavericks did this on their own. Mavericks APPROACHED THE LAKERS with this.
