tbh this site should be renamed to badtakes.com fwiw
time for Fox to dominate Trae so we dont have any regrets over which path we chose
yea! Tomorrow is against Hawks right?
Better win
See that Bassey is out with an MCL sprain. Spurs need to sign a C ASAP tbh.
Trae is better but we would have had to pay double the price to get him tbh![]()
Upgraded to available. Time to win these must win games against subpar teams if we are to have any hope for the play-in.
Spurs easily a playin team with fox
With Bassey out don’t the spurs need another active big for tomorrow?
Feels like there’s another move looming for SA
If there is, I hope it's a good one. If there is a move, do you think it's with any of the assets? I'm not opposed to using any of them, but only if it's a good move. Not interested in wasting any on guys like Cam Johnson unless it's minimal assets being used/traded. I'd rather wait and see what we can get with the draft than use any of the major ones.
Not sure about a blockbuster trade for someone like KD, though, either if I'd want to use any of them for that. I really wonder what pathway the Spurs are looking at here.
Paul's injury raises questions.
Paul signed with Spurs to be a starter. It was something really important to him. With the Fox trade, he likely has lost his starting spot and I'm sure Spurs have talked to him to ask if he wants to stay here as a bench player or to be traded/bought out.
A possible destination for Paul would be OKC. When SGA is on the bench, they struggle a lot offensively and Paul would certainly help.
Cmon
Asst Playing Coach is possible.....and being a Mentor is fulfilling.....
i might be wrong, but having been a mentor to college students, hmmmm....i would choose to stay with the best organization in Spurs
He could ring here as Asst Coach....
I think we likely saw our blockbuster trade. But I could see the organization moving Paul for a big. Maybe a team short of future picks happy to have some of our draft capital thrown in. Speculating, but I’m sure the FO is talking to Paul about his role change. Coming off the bench for a team shooting for a le is different than one aiming for the play-in.
We’ll see. I personally hope Paul stays because I still see him as a valuable piece. Paul or no, I think the Spurs are trying for another piece before tomorrow is over.
I hope you're correct with all you've mentioned as I like the sounds of all that. Hopefully Paul does stay, and hopefully the Spurs can make another move, but I guess we will see. When does the trade deadline end? Is it Thursday? If so, what time US EST time?
Paul may accept a trade to Boston as a backup to try to get a ring. Spurs wouldn't be doing Paul dirty if they can send him to Boston.
Paul for Neemias Queta gives the Spurs a backup center.
CP3 isn't being traded you morons.
