So, serious question here. Who would you prefer be President right now.
I would take even a carboard cutout of Lebron James... right up there with a lawn chair.

Both have substantially better odds of not running the country to the ground like the last two GOP presidents, and there would be no doubt democracy is safe.

Now, Lebron being a black man, I understand his cardboard cutout might trigger conservatives, tbh.

    Can some one help clarify

I read but can’t believe that Politico did not make payroll that past pay period.

    How can that be?

    Thanks
You mean, this? That's not "not making payroll"

A power-mad president possessed of radical theories of executive authority and convinced of his own royal prerogative has given de facto control of most of the federal government to one of the richest men on the planet, if not the richest, whose own interests are tangled up in those of rival governments and foreign autocracies as well as the United States. The public has no guarantee that its most sensitive data is secure. At best, they have the personal word of Donald Trump, which, paired with a few dollars, might buy you a cup of coffee.

The only ins ution capable of responding to this with any alacrity is Congress. But Congress is also led by Republicans, and both the Senate majority leader, John Thune, and the speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, have declined to take any steps to arrest the president’s illegal arrogation of power or Musk’s destructive effort to run the federal government. Thune and Johnson, acting with the support of Republicans in both chambers, have, in effect, renounced their power over the purse and abnegated their powers of oversight. Their Congress is supine, submissive and subordinate, less the equal of the president than a tool of the executive branch — a subject of his will.

Again, Ivanka was the most high profile person attached to USAID and she headed (or at least was the face of) several multimillion dollar initiatives.

Was she evil too or was everything sweetness and light when a Trump was involved?

Asking for clarification to you extremely vague questions in not dodging no matter how many times you try and say it is.

Elon and "DOGE" are doing a lot of things, what specifically are you asking about?

    This is sad.

Great. If Soros assembled a team of kids and got access to all the payment information from the Department of Treasury (including yours and your family's and that of your business and any Soros compe or or perceived enemy) and was able to keep and read any of it at any time, would you approve?

    Yes or no.

Hey there we go you finally asked a specific question.

    Yes or no.
If Soros assembled a team to run audits and cut back on wasteful spending, yes, I would approve.

“I didn’t vote for Elon Musk and his autistic tech bros to get a line-item veto on federal spending!”

Yeah well I didn’t vote for Joe Biden’s non-binary Deep State theater kids to get a blank check to give my tax dollars to fringe left-wing NGO slush funds for four years, but that’s exactly what happened.

Elections have consequences, one of which being the president of the United States—the CEO of the executive branch—gets to make personnel appointments across the administrative state.

    Dodge #4 stands.

You didn't answer the question. You constructed several straw men.

    Sad.
