Right now Sochan is my biggest complaint, what does he even do that’s good
Fox confirmed this in the post-game interview. Paul brought it up.

Loved Fox's debut.
Wemby just seemed...out of it tonight.
The rest of the team is what it is.
Trae definitely had the aura to make that final shot too
Great win considering Fox’s first game. Any win is a good win right now, Fox or not.
The Hawks are a terrible team without Jalen Johnson and these dummies almost gave them the game.
Mitch is obviously in way over his head so a real coach will help.
But holy , the collective IQ is just so, so bad.
Sochan, Devin, and Keldon have zeros excuse and they're not gonna get better.
I really hope Wemby gets smarter and stronger but he's frankly not yet ready to lead a contender. He's 21 so I get it but man there's a lot of growing up to do both physically and mentally.
Champagnie is a serviceable 3pt shooter but he's super sus with protecting the ball. He has moments, but seems a bit oafish. Might be a good trade if the Spurs could get something for him, like a decent backup big. I wonder if Joker is available.
Let's make Chris the coach, tbh.
Spurs Legend Dominique Wilkins.
I rewound to watch the sequence. Paul talks with Mitch and comes over to Fox/Wemby. I think it came from the bench and during the interview Fox thought it came from Paul alone. Pretty sure they wouldn't miss on purpose without coach's direction.
Yeah Victor looked ing gassed chasing the Hawks around.
He's a good color guy the times I've watched Atlanta games.
He looked downright sick in the third quarter.
And Fox said post game he was a bit out of shape.
This is what I had the biggest problem with. Castle was locking him up, why change it??
Important win
That challenge at the end was moronic, glad to see Trae didn't get a chance to win the game in the frontcourt.
30-page game thread in freakin' February...Peak Duncan era stuff. Feels good to be relevant again![]()
Wemby was having trouble staying on his feet at times. Kinda scary
If Wemby is not sick and Okongwu shoots normally, this is a 10-15 point win.
It is a win against Atlanta with a good game from Fox, so we'll take that
Remember when Tim Duncan as a rookie single-handedly owned Phoenix in the playoffs?
He was 21.
Just to calibrate where we are on the schedule.
Playing backup center and then guarded Tre Young. Shot 7/8 from the field, while being on minute restriction, recovering from a back injury.
Wemby always goes down easy, flops.
Are folks really this blinded by bad shooting?
What does Sochan do that's good? Pretty much anything that doesn't involve jumpshooting. He's our best defender outside of Wemby. Can defen 1 through 5. Is an elite finisher. A good conector with his passing. Very good athleticism. Rebounds well. Contests shots at the rim. And compared to some of the guys in our roster, looks like Manu in terms of BBIQ.
