TOR has been on a tear. I think they can catch ATL if they get BI and some health (and BI gets healthy). But that also assumes they keep Jak (which they should).
Grady has had a huge leap this year, fun player.
oof glad Atlanta whiffed on Ingram.

You can also add the Blazers to that. The prospects of that Hawks pick completely changed in our favor in the past couple weeks.. Like a Top 7-8 pick is now a distinct possibility.
To mediocrity and beyond.
Not complaining, though. We need Toronto to finish ahead of Atlanta for years to come.
Huerter is actually the kind of player the Spurs could use. A 26-year-old 6'7" three-point shooter.
Having a bit of a down year and his bus stop team is looking to trade him.
Could look good on the cheap.
With the amount of trades already, I wonder if tomorrow won’t be very active before the deadline
If only the Spurs had been in a trade involved with him where he could have been routed to them.
The league moves in mysterious ways . . .
Chicago trading for Huerter and Zollins while thinking they can offload the contracts the other teams unloaded on you…they are the worst front office if you don’t count Dallas.
Lakers got Mark Williams from Charlotte
Damn Mark Williams was not one of the centers I had on my Lakers radar.
They praise a pretty steep price but man if he stays healthy he will be good.
Surprised Mark Williams is playing again tbh
god damn they blew their load on him, no
That's quite an overpay for Mark Williams. Dude is the proper incarnation of "Street Clothes!"
Don't think Luka is leaving in 2026 so they should be fine, but if for some reason he did, this trade could end up being disastrous for them tbh.
Dubs, Kings, and Suns all lose tonight tbh
they paid a lot for williams. i mean if you could guarantee his health he's probably worth it. but they didnt get any type of bargain
Dang they gave up the rest of the Luka trade for Williams. If Williams is healthy, he'll be great for them but man that's a lot for a very iffy player.
TOR used to have a good front office. Trading your future for Mark Williams is like trading it for Rob Dillingham.
Jumping up those 3 teams is doable seen there are no further moves left to them to improve. Gotta put together a small winning streak and we will be back in the play-in picture. Spurs still have 34 games to play (most in the league) and are only one game back in the loss column from the 8th seed.
Fair point but they had to make the move. If I’m a lakers fan I’m pretty happy they were able to secure a serviceable center to round out the roster.
I wouldn’t normally say this but I think Bron is capable of working around the strengths of this roster to make it work.
I feel LA is a better team post moves.
Kings fans already crying about Lavine being a worse player than Fox. Well, duuh![]()
feels like they paid a lot for sure. but tough to go to a tanking/rebuidling team, telling them i want your very good and promising 23 year old center, and expecting a discount
