Why should anyone trust him to spot abuse?
Yeah, can a Trump here explain why my tax dollar should go to Space X?
It's the only way he knows how to operate. It's impossible for him to have a conversation in good faith.
I posted a bunch of examples yesterday and even gave winehole a tool to search the USAID waste on his own and not a single reply about the waste and he just ignored it and started posting in the same thread as if nothing happened.![]()
I'm not a fan of USAID either, but ElOn and the president can't disappear agencies created by law with a magic wand because they don't like them, or don't jibe with the priorities of the current occupant of the WH
the issue here is normal cons utional order, not whether the funding target is worthy.
pass a ing law if you want to get rid of a US agency
if you can't do that, maybe there's not as much support as you think for what you're doing
So you agree with what DOGE is doing in principle you just don't like how they are going about it?
no, DOGE itself is sketchy as
if you want to abolish an agency you need to pass a law -- cutting off federal transfers on El0n and Trump's say so is nakedly uncons utional
El0n fiddling with the US system of payment isn't advisory, it's vandalism
using DOGE to mine personal information about "government employees disloyal to Trump" could be related to cost cutting
it could also be related an ongoing partisan purge of the US government, something we've not seen in the USA since the 19th century
Neither was Musk's.
You do the same, both were taken out of context.

Have you not seen the results from just his audit of USAID? You don't think DOGE is "spotting abuse" there? He's ing killing it. On to Treasury and Education and then, the Health and Human Services agency; where he'll take a look at the abuses in Medicare and Medicaid?
Those are contracts not subsidies you ing idiot. Space X can build and launch a more efficient rocket for 1/10th the price of our own government. Space X is saving you money.
Steven, your post is a masterclass in deception. Let’s set the record straight:
1. Contracts Aren’t Free Money
The $15.4 billion you’re crying about isn’t some welfare check, it’s payment for actual work. SpaceX didn’t “take” that money; it earned it by providing NASA with reliable, cost-effective rockets, saving taxpayers billions. That’s called delivering value, not “feeding.”
2. SpaceX Outperforms Everyone Else
NASA contracted SpaceX because they’re cheaper, faster, and better than the alternatives. Would you prefer we kept paying Russia to ferry our astronauts to space? Or maybe throw more money at legacy contractors charging 3x the cost? SpaceX revolutionized space travel while keeping American innovation and jobs here.
3. Tesla’s "Share"? A Drop in the Bucket
Tesla’s federal contracts are a fraction of that total. Its success wasn’t handed to it; it came from private sales and its game-changing innovations in clean energy. Yes, they benefited from EV tax incentives, just like every other automaker, but now they lead a global EV revolution.
4. Contracts vs. USAID
Here’s the kicker: USAID funds are given away with minimal oversight, often landing in the hands of corrupt regimes or questionable actors. Federal contracts with SpaceX and Tesla? Performance-based, accountable, and beneficial to the American people. Big difference.
So before you throw around numbers to spin your narrative, maybe consider the facts: Musk’s companies are delivering value for every penny. What’s your excuse for misleading people?

NASA needs his rockets and his capabilities to reach the International Space Station because Boeing DEI hires can barely keep planes in the air, much less deploy a safe means of rescuing our astronauts. Next question?
According to USAID do ents, Ivanka Trump used over $11,000 from the department in 2019 to buy video recording and reproducing equipment for a White House event.
The do ents show $11,539 was to used by Trump in November 2019 to purchase software, CDs, tapes and records.
The purchase was approved by Jenifer Healy, who was serving as USAID deputy chief of staff at the time, and the Administrator's Office. It is not clear which White House event the equipment was used for.

It will be wild to see the dollar amount of fraud found.
I wonder if NASA is on his DOGE list.
For what were the recording and reproduction equipment used? To whom were the software, CDs, tapes and records distributed? Oh, it's unclear. Well, ask her. I suspect it's probably related to her advocacy of the initiative. I don't know. What I do know it's a long way from saying President Trump gave Ivanka $100 million. You know, hyperbole isn't serving your side of the argument very well, Blake.
The problem is that you guys don't want to look at any possible fraud on your team. Trump s will screech every time when someone points a finger at their heroes.
Did you even read the rest of the article before posting what you thought was a gotcha?
"the White House released a list of foreign aid programs the administration views as wasteful that are likely to be cut. They include $20 million for a "new Sesame Street show in Iraq," as well as $1.5 million and $5.5 million to promote LGBTQ+ advocacy in Jamaica and Uganda, two countries where members of the LGBTQ+ community have few legal rights. Uganda has one of the world's strictest antigay laws, including the death penalty.
The administration also pointed to programs to fund $6 million for tourists in Egypt, more than $19 million to promote "inclusion" in Vietnam and $5 million to EcoHealthAlliance, described as "one of the key NGOs funding bat virus research at the Wuhan lab."
"White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt criticized USAID for sending $1.5 million to advance DEI in Serbia workplaces, $70,000 for a "DEI musical" in Ireland and $32,000 for a "transgender comic book in Peru." She also claimed that USAID spent $47,000 on a "transgender opera in Colombia."

He wants the world to feel his pain.
they have the never admitting fault disease so bad they want to make it a crime to disagree with trump
She used USAID funds. Keep downplaying it like your lord and master commands you.
