Kings fans already crying about Lavine being a worse player than Fox. Well, duuh
I can’t believe their GM thought it was a smart idea to have Lavine and Derozan on the same team again because it worked so well the first time

It did work pretty well briefly, well when they had a PG in Chicago.

he thought devonte graham actually had value other than cap relief as a quasi-expiring contract

graham isnt arriving to other teams in a vacuum. he's making over 12 mil. im sure if graham was a free agent, he'd have suitors. i dont think he'd have suitors lining up to pay him 12 mil per year. under his current contract, his real value is as cap relief. under a different contract, would be a different story. nobody was trading for 50 mills, but a competing Nets team had no problem signing him for 2/12
$12M is next to nothing in todays NBA. it’s the 125th ranked salary. Steph makes 4 times as much, and by the end of his contract, he will make 5 times as much.

i'll bet you $100 that graham's next contract earns him less than 12M per year
Signature bet. Loser has to change their sig to read [winners screen name] knows contracts better than I do until the end of the next regular season.

I don't remember this much trade activity during the days before a deadline ever. It's super interesting but the majority of good deals might be behind us already and there'll be only less intriguing roster adjustment type deals now, but still.

I doubt the Spurs are in for a center on a long term contract but with the CBA being as it is a ton of trades require a 3rd and 4th teams in order to complete and I hope the Spurs can plug in somewhere and take a good asset, be it a pick or a player, while facilitating.

Doubt it happens because the Nets reportedly want 2 FRP's for him, but Cam Johnson would fit seamlessly on this team and give us some much-needed shooting.

    Averaging 19/4/3 on 49/41/90 splits at 8 3PA/per

Turns 29 next month. Has 2 years left on his deal at a pretty friendly $43M over the next 2 years.

The Phoenix Suns are trading Jusuf Nurkic and a 2026 first-round pick to the Charlotte Hornets for Cody Martin, Vasilije Micic and a 2026 second-round pick, sources tell ESPN.
Someone put Sons out of their misery.

    Jazz receive:

    • 2031 unprotected first-round pick

    Suns receive:

    • 2025 least favorable first-round pick (via Cleveland, Minnesota or Utah*)
    • 2027 least favorable first-round pick (via Cleveland, Minnesota or Utah)
    • 2029 least favorable first-round pick (via Cleveland, Minnesota*, or Utah)

    * = protected
    They have these.
Masterstroke to trade an unprotected FRP for 3 garbage ones.

Lmao suns. Their FO since Ishiba took over has been hilariously bad. The Beal trade was so obviously stupid to everyone else at the time and they completely handcuffed their franchise because of it. That's what their idiot owner gets for trying to immediately buy a le

That's a trade made by a GM who knows he won't be around in 2031 so he looks at it as getting something for nothing.

I kinda expected the Suns giving up one of their late FRPs to trade Nurkic. Thought maybe we could dump Keldon this way. But hopefully we will get someone more valuable than Nurkic.

Nice pickup by the Cavs. Caris LeVert was playing like ass this season. Hunter is a major upgrade.

This makes the Hawks worse though. Makes me think they're not done yet.

Don't think Luka is leaving in 2026 so they should be fine, but if for some reason he did, this trade could end up being disastrous for them tbh.
Honestly, I hope Luka does leave just so this collusion can bite them in the ass. He never asked to be there, and he will certainly have other options on the table...including San Antonio if we can make the money work

Perk is a bumbling idiot with superhero syndrome. If I'm Durant, I wouldn't lose a wink of sleep over what that windbag has to say
