this deal actually put cavs below the tax line and hawks slightly above the tax line. look for the hawks to offload a little salary
If Hunter can keep shooting 40% from 3pt, Cavs might just get to the finals, tbh.

Cody Zeller's contract is getting dumped for sure.
or Bogi. or Nance.
Cavs honestly got Hunter for cheap. Caris, 3 SRPs and 2026 and 2028 swaps, which are already swapped with UTA. So UTA will get the best of UTA/CLE and ATL will get the second best of UTA/CLE/ATL... which probably means ATL is just keeping it's own pick, tbh.
Atlanta doing Cleveland and Hunter favors.
Are the swaps First Rounders? because in 26 they swap with SA, so does that mean they get the 2nd best between them, SA, and CLE?
Good point.
So in 2026, UTA will get the best of UTA/CLE and SA will get the best of SA/ATL. Then ATL will get the best remaining of UTA/CLE/SA/ATL and CLE will get the worst remaining.
Kind of a fake swap, Cleveland surely must expect to have a better record than all these teams anyway, even an improved SA shouldn't catch them at least for 26
woulda been better if they just kept CP3
Spurs were interest in Trae confirmed.
We chose wisely....
The old get older.
This isn't Bogdanovic from a few years ago, his knee is ed.
I'd say maybe nephew's doctors can help him, but we've seen how that worked out.
Darn. Hawks are making moves. They want to tank that lottery pick.
I don't think Caris Lavert and Terrance Mann are saving their season tbh
I don't totally get the Hunter trade. Was he that expensive for Atlanta?
Yea Bogi has been this year and his minutes have gone way down with the emergence of Johnson and Hunter. He's almost 33 with a bad knee. He's cooked imo.
That should get ATL under the tax. Terance Mann ain't bad, but he also aint good. Maybe ATL thought they were getting Tre Mann
Yea both those guy's production have dwindled this season. Maybe a change of scenery and playing along Trae helps them, we'll see.
I see, it's like when the Spurs were following Luka Samanic in Europe thinking it was Luka Doncic.
ATLANTA I LOVE YOU
Makes sense for ATL to start loading up on seconds. They have to keep their team stocked somehow.
(Edit: nevermind, they just sent out three seconds for Mann)
It's fascinating to watch what they do. I don't remember another situation where a team was not very good yet still had no control over their next three drafts. Tearing things down to tank doesn't make sense, but doing so to acquire other draft assets does.
Again. Bogi was terrible this season. This 3P% inexplicably has fallen way down to 30%. Mann's is better - 34.7%, but at 1/3 of the attempts. This move shouldn't help ATL in any significant way. Here's hoping it pushes them down further in the East.
terance mann used to be considered the better one. clippers were reluctant to trade him in recent years on the backs of one really good playoff game he had.
last year or so, when healthy at least, Tre has been the better Mann
