Damn. SAC got Laravia and Val. Was hoping they'd soft tank after the Fox trade.
Now it increases the chances of helping Atlanta by conveying a first rounder this year and they're still firmly in the play-in battle with the Spurs.
Don’t worry Mugen, if you watched the Kings last night get blown out by Orlando at home you will see how disgustingly atrocious the defensive tandem of Derozan and Lavine is. My word it was awful to watch. Lavine may even be a worse defender than Derozan and that’s saying something.
Bc of country music, lots of hot women come over to Nashville and try to make it big there. It has a nice night life and lots of girls who you can spend time with if you catch my drift. So if you’re young single and rich then Nashville is a great city to be in.
Has the trade deadline passed? (I'm in Europe)
Ahh right, gotcha. In that case, I can see why a lot of NBA players like the city.
Yes. It finished about an hour and twenty minutes ago.
OK thx!
Meh. Annoying that they didn't grab a backup C and couldn't pry Cam from the Nets but whatevs. We got our PG so this trade deadline is a resounding success regardless
There’s still buy out candidates. It’s a deep draft year. No need to give up picks/assets if we can sign a vet from a waiver. That’s before March 1st?
Can't complain at all IMO after getting Fox. It was a great trade deadline for the Spurs IMO.
Idea for the off season: Vassell, Barnes, two 1sts (can't decipher which makes most sense until learning where own/Hawks '25 land) for Durant.
Fascinating deadline this year.
Lakers went all in with Mark Williams. So, so risky. I don’t think his body is going to hold up. They are going to depend on him in a way he’s not used to.
Dallas had two A grade, athletic Centres to play next to Luka with the style he desires. I would rank Williams a C+ or B- athletically at best.
Who did Sean Marks think Cam Johnson is after that Doncic trade? Thinking a 29-yo in the classic good-stats-on-bad-team role was worth 2 plus FRPs
The entire NBA front offices rightfully told him to go kick rocks.
Luka isn’t in Dallas any more.
I’m sure Marks is just not wanting to sell low. They can get this markets price at any time over the next two seasons. I’m sure he’s just looking for an uptick in the market. There’s no reason to sell low.
Umm...I have some news for you
Reading comprehension not your strong suit lads.
Mark Williams also did not get traded to Dallas. Let's see if you can use the context clues to figure this one out.
Liked: Hornets, Cavaliers, Pistons, Lakers, Spurs
Understand it: Bulls, Warriors, Heat, Pelicans, 76ers, Jazz, Wizards
Disliked: Hawks, Clippers, Grizzlies, Bucks, Kings
Don't understand it: Mavericks, Magic, Suns, Raptors
You sir are correct. I skimmed it too quickly
Humor me. I work the night shift and just woke up
Wild that the Bucks think adding Kevin Porter and Kyle Kuzma was the way to go.
Do you mean the two 2025 firsts or one them + another down the road (Celtics/Sac swaps etc..)?
That being said. This is what small, unglamorous markets are up against in this league. A twilight Durant nixing a move to the clearly second best team in the West and one of smartest run organizations in recent years. Unless you have the crown jewel (Wemby, James), nobody will give you a look as a destination.
No sweat my guy. I apologise for the Emo retort.
