Would've been a perfect game to rest Wemby, but we have no bigs.
Neither do Hornets, but we can't take the risk.
We need to take care of business early and keep everyone rested before tomorrow's game in Orlando.
Need these 3 wins before Boston game.

Man I hope they get another body in here to eat some minutes soon. Feels like there are decent enough options on the market.
SHOULD be an easy win, until some scrub from the Hornets side goes 10 for 10 from three.
if the spurs lose this game, we trade fox away the day he becomes trade eligible
What aint no country i ever heard of
this should be over by halftime. Unless we come out in the 3rd like we always do and make it a dogfight. Mitch should have a larger rotation in this game and play Mamu, Wesley and McLaughlin.
yeah, charlotte was not a great team to begin with, has been ravaged by injuries all year, and now just traded away mark williams weeks after trading away nick richards. diabate isnt that bad tbh, but theyre going to be asking a lot of him
then again okongwu ate wemby's lunch, so...
lets get a fox 40 piece , im surprised fox played 37 min last game
Should be a blowout win, but Spurs can't be ed to win 3rd quarters and it's on the road, so we'll see.
Looking forward to a great victory though
Kings fans have been ting on Fox nonstop the past few days -- calling him a traitor and a snake and all that -- and he's definitely hearing the noise cause he felt the need to address it by speaking to a Kings beat writer to answer some questions. Hopefully it's not a distraction and he plays motivated basketball today.
Fox has a (former) fanbase to answer to. He didn't snake his way out like Number Two, but he did allow it to be publicly known that he wanted out and to a specific team. I'm glad Fox is going on the record about this.
I think he'll be fine- he looks and sounds like someone who really enjoys playing basketball.
In all honesty- Sac got OK back. Lavine a couple of firsts. Plus it's not like he abandoned a stellar organization.
I love the confidence in here but this is still a .500 team even with Fox. Just as much chance for a dogfight vs. "putting Charlotte away by halftime"
It's not even about confidence; it's the fact that the other team has like half of their guys out and they're putting plumbers on the floor.
Yea there have been a handful of level-headed Kings fans who have said as much. That it's the organization's fault for not doing enough to build around him, etc. But fans are always emotional after their franchise guys asks out and Lutch did tank his value by publicly stating that they only wanted San Antonio so I get it from their perspective. It'll blow over in time tbh hopefully he uses it as motivation moving forward.
Fox is 27 and he realized signing an extension with Sacramento would most likely mean he spends his entire prime on a treadmill team.
He didn't want to enter the final year of his contract, asked out early enough for them to get some value back.
I didn't like the he only wants to go to Spurs part, but at least he was honest about not extending elsewhere.
and this team will still struggle
Geez do they have any players left.
I'm expecting for the Spurs to go up 20 in the first half and be down five ending the third.
I'm guessing you were joking, but if not, I thought it was a crazy statement about trading away Fox if the Spurs don't win this single game. It's not on Fox, it's on everyone else to step up/pull their weight (Keldon, Devin etc. have to start being more consistent) and play as a team. Specific players not being consistent from game to game is what is hurting the team the most. Also, playing smart and with more poise is another issue they need to get fixed.
You didn't like that he asked to go to the Spurs? Why? I was real happy to hear someone say it.
It's not Fox fault that the Kings think they can win with a bunch of no defense playing guys like DeRozan and Sabonis and think Zach LaVine would be a great addition
They got LaVine, 2 unprotected firsts, 5 second round picks and were able to offload Huerter in the deal. That's a good return no matter how you slice it. It's just that their FO is stupid and builds a team that can't defend anybody.
yeah i thought it was clear i was being hyperbolic. this is a game they definitely should win convincingly, no excuses
