Mitch ain't out there clanking shots. Mitch ain't out there double teaming when you don't need to double team.
Mitch is the one playing coverages that don't hedge on the pick & roll, Mitch is the one starting a line up that has a net rating of -20, Mitch is the one not calling plays on crucial posessions

Mitch ain't out there clanking shots. Mitch ain't out there double teaming when you don't need to double team.
Mitch ain't putting up a winning gameplan, either.
I watched Mavs-Rockets before our game. Rockets got killed by Mavs size in the first half, couldn't do .
What does Udoka do? Benches Eason and starts the second half with both Sengun and Adams, they win the quarter by 9 points.
Meanwhile Mitch brings back CP3 because he doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

Is our roster full of low IQ players who aren't good enough? Obviously.
But good coaching staff would put those players into limited roles that take advantage of their strengths.
Instead we have Keldon and Jeremy bring the ball up because everyone can play basketball.
I don't remember Danny taking many dribbles back in the day, it wasn't his job.

Now they want Champ who obviously can't do anything other than shoot the ball to become a better passer and driver.
And Jeremy who's allowed to dribble around and attack the paint despite not having any processing power to realize that's what the opposing team wants him to do.
He sees an opening in the paint, but doesn't understand that before he can get to the restricted area he'll be closed down and that his drive will end up in a bad shot or a turnover.

We wasted so many late shot clock situations this season on players passing the ball to Jeremy wide open in the paint. There's a reason why he's wide open, he can't ing shoot.
Devin had one of the best games of the season last night because he either took jumpshots or attacked slow-footed bigs off the dribble. He shouldn't be the initiator, playmaker or allowed to iso unless it's a mismatch against a big man.

And so on and aso on, I could name a 100 examples for just X and Os why coaching sucks, that's without going into the general idea of which style of basketball should this roster play.
You think that Wemby wouldn't like to score 10 easy points every game? If the coach isn't capable of creating sets that work, you can't say "Wemby needs to get into the paint more". Or you really think he's ignoring coaching instructions?

And no, this isn't on Mitch, the same would've happened with Pop, it's his doing.
Spurs used to be a team that could almost pick up people off the street and make them look solid because everyone knew their role, now we're trying to play this positionless basketball thing with low IQ scrubs.
A top level coach would easily have 10 more wins than Pop/Mitch this season.

btw if we never play zone defense in this game, given how fragile Orlando's shooting is, Mitch is even dumber than we thought.
    well...

Im sure that after the Fox signing the rotation was reset to see who can do with what, im not worried about that it will get figured out. The problem is that whatever lineup they throw out there cant shoot I blame the players for that. Double teaming I also blame on the players they are on the floor they switch and leave guys wide open are they not communicating and staying in the gym a little longer and getting some shots off?

yeah I think communication has been a huge issue when it comes to defense. You kinda get that vibe when you listen to the player interviews. Starting CP3 next to Fox only enhances the defensive issues. But Mitch should try to run some zone every now and then when you can't get stops.

Could be that a new coach could bring more out of these players that's a big maybe. These players are actually on the floor and have direct outcome of whether they win or lose. Obviously the line of communication runs from the top to the bottom when it should actually work both ways. If the shots aren't falling I can deal with that but I can not stand the useless double teaming.

It may be a mixed bag guys like CP3 and fox even barnes are the seasoned veterans one the team. Don't they make in game recommendations based on what they are seeing out there? Most of what I see is 5 dudes running up and down the court willie nilley
