a significant portion of missing and exploited children are gay and trans kids who got kicked out of the house
publicizing the wrong names won't help very much to find them
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) was told this week by DOJ that they'd lose their funding if the org didn't remove any mentions of LGBTQIA+ issues from their public materials, I've learned. Staff were told they need to deadname trans kids in their reports to comply.
what about them?
They hurt your eyes
the unprecedented official -- nationwide, top-down censorship -- and legal persecution of a very small American minority will be a permanent stain on the USA
it's wantonly abusive and unwarranted by any threat to public safety
pure bluenose puritanism
If you're trans-ing a kid, you're evil.
it's not usually a transitive process, is it?
the kid decides how they're gonna look. there's only so much you can do about it.
people don't get transed, they decide who they want to be and how to present themselves.
why do we need a robust, national policy to censor and suppress a 2% max minority?
anybody's welcome to weigh in on this
Lol Darrin's moral compass
the idea that people are generally coerced and tricked into being trans seems preposterous to me -- the only trans people I've met definitely chose it for themselves.
iirc, there was recently a principal in Texas that tried to push it on a kid. Yeah, if true that dude needs to go to jail.
But if a 5 year old girl wants to wear boy clothes then it's evil if the parent doesn't force that girl into a dress.
You're one of those guys who thinks people are doing this because its trendy, right?
McCarthyite purge is on
https://www.motherjones.com/politics...avender-scare/In the US Department of Agriculture, multiple people have been asked to report the names of LGBTQ employee resource group leaders to higher-ranking officials, according to interviews with workers and a do ent reviewed by Mother Jones. In the Interior Department, too, Michael says that an official has informed him that they’ve been asked to produce the names of at least some participants in employee resource groups.
“I never thought my involvement in an after-work group would land me here,” a board member of a USDA employee resource group says.
“They’re not coming out and saying, ‘We want to fire the s,’” Michael says. “They’re not asking people, ‘Are you gay? Are you lesbian?’ They’re asking, ‘Who is participating in DEI?’ But in the end it’s going to have the same effect.”
https://www.erininthemorning.com/p/t...m-lgbtq-purgesThe same mechanism used to justify this mass firing can be weaponized across any branch of government. If merely discussing gender-affirming care is deemed “obscene,” then every LGBTQ+ workplace chat could serve as pretext for an even broader purge.
This was heavily telegraphed in the lead-up to the 2024 election. Project 2025 explicitly aimed to define transgender people as obscene, and now, that agenda is taking shape. If Rufo can convince the public that transgender people merely discussing their medical care or LGBTQ+ people discussing sexual health cons utes obscene, fireable content, it’s easy to see this logic expanding into other areas of government or even into the public sphere.
"All NSA employees sign agreements stating that publishing non-mission related material on Intelink is a usage violation and will result in disciplinary action."

"“[M]ine is everything,” said one male who claimed to have had gender reconstruction surgery. “[I]’ve found that i like being penetrated (never liked it before GRS), but all the rest is just as important as well.” Another intelligence official boasted that genital surgery allowed him “to wear leggings or bikinis without having to wear a gaff under it.”
These employees discussed hair removal, estrogen injections, and the experience of sexual pleasure post-castration. “[G]etting my butthole zapped by a laser was . . . shocking,” said one transgender-identifying intel employee who spent thousands on hair removal. “Look, I just enjoy helping other people experience boobs,” said another about estrogen treatments. “[O]ne of the weirdest things that gives me euphoria is when i pee, i don’t have to push anything down to make sure it aims right,” a Defense Intelligence Agency employee added."
"Last January, chatroom members discussed their practice of polyamory, or “ethical non-monogamy.” “[A] polycule is a polyamorous group,” one employee explained. “A is my [girlfriend], and B-G are her partners. . . . then B&C are dating but not C&D, nor E, F, or G with any of the others, though there are several MWB (metas-with-benefits) connections.” Another employee claimed to be part of a nine-member “polycule,” adding that “some of our friends are practically poly-mers, with all the connected compounds.”
At other times, the conversations became explicit. The active source at the NSA claimed to have witnessed hundreds of sexually provocative discussions, which, he added, occurred mostly on taxpayer time. The former NSA source who was familiar with the chats recalled being “disgusted” by a particularly shocking thread discussing weekend “gangbangs.”

I'm sure all the straight white guys do everything by the book, right?
The basic idea is that trans people are mentally ill and "liars" with regard to their own gender, and hence inherently dishonorable.
There's also a frame of obscenity around self-presentation: prurience somehow sticks harder to trans women than similarly dressed women.
The current right wing mania for verifying other people's junk might have something to do with it
It wouldn't have been such a big issue if democrats hadn't been so ing stupid. Yall died on the hill of defending trans men winning women's sporting events which was hated by like 80% of the population. If yall had just shut up about extreme trans rights there would have never been the backlash.
Yall defended that because that's what Rachel told you to do and lost the election because of it.
