They were outscored by 14 points, scoring just 102.4 per 100 possessions, in those 38 minutes.

Unfortunately the Wizards have been so good at Tanking they've entered into the Spoiler Zone. They are 4 wins below the #4 team (CHA) in wins, so they can afford the occasional "wtf" victory and not damage their odds.

Remember Mitch, there's offence and there's defence. 3 points is worth more than 2, which is more than 1....
Not like those have been working out... maybe cluster ing the le will lead to wins!
Let's see if these trends continue:
- leave 3 point shooters wide open
- play a small-ball and ultra-small ball lineup essentially 48 minutes
- We allow double digit offensive rebounds
- CP3 gets dominated on multiple possessions defensively
- Mitch Johnson doesn't use his challenge and/or all of his timeouts

Sucks to lose Bassey right after trading Zolllins. I've also seen Minix on the bench with his arm in a sling/cast so not sure what the timeframe for recovery is there but such a shame when all we have is Mamu and Sochan basically behind Wemby now and Minix would possibly maybe see some run in this case.
Pretty disappointing to not secure at least an insurance big on the deadline but maybe they're playing the buyout scene? I honestly think Spurs FO is intentionally losing games to enhance their draft pick at this point. It's the simplest and most elegant explanation unless the entire FO has somehow collectively suffered a head injury.
