    El0n/Trump are screwing businesses

If they continue to up transfer payments it will get wild

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Trump administration’s dismantling of the U.S. Agency for International Development is stiffing American businesses on hundreds of millions of dollars in unpaid bills for work that has already been done, according to a lawsuit filed Tuesday.

The administration’s abrupt freeze on foreign aid also is forcing mass layoffs by U.S. suppliers and contractors for USAID, including 750 furloughs at one company, Washington-based Chemonics International, the lawsuit says.

“One cannot overstate the impact of that unlawful course of conduct: on businesses large and small forced to shut down their programs and let employees go; on hungry children across the globe who will go without; on populations around the world facing deadly disease; and on our cons utional order,” the U.S. businesses and organizations said.

Is the matter being discussed commanding military operations or exercising prosecutorial discretion?

Because that's all this guy was talking about.

And really, I'll just post the decision from Marbury v. Madison if you like.

    what a petty

Associated Press: “Today we were informed by the White House that if AP did not align its editorial standards with President Donald Trump’s executive order renaming the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America, AP would be barred from accessing an event in the Oval Office.“

will be more interesting to see if AP sucks up to Trump

it won't cost them anything but self-respect

The Left and the media (but I repeat myself) have spent the past 8+ years trying to destroy the man; he's got no s left to give and he's got plenty of people to help him with the weighty and frivolous alike.

    Google's on board.

hey, we still have a functioning BLS!

maybe Trumplandia needs to dial up the harassment and death threats

there's a nonzero chance Trump will sack Powell if he doesn't obey

The Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) increased 0.5 percent on a seasonally adjusted basis in
January, after rising 0.4 percent in December, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Over the last
12 months, the all items index increased 3.0 percent before seasonal adjustment.

The index for shelter rose 0.4 percent in January, accounting for nearly 30 percent of the monthly all items
increase. The energy index rose 1.1 percent over the month, as the gasoline index increased 1.8 percent. The
index for food also increased in January, rising 0.4 percent as the index for food at home rose 0.5 percent and
the index for food away from home increased 0.2 percent.

The index for all items less food and energy rose 0.4 percent in January. Indexes that increased over the month
include motor vehicle insurance, recreation, used cars and trucks, medical care, communication, and airline fares.
The indexes for apparel, personal care, and household furnishings and operations were among the few major indexes
    that decreased in January.
