So they know these are errors.

Do they fix the errors once they find them?

Obviously not. Finally, we have President (with a mostly agreeable Congress) willing to take on the waste, fraud, and abuse.

So once they find a payment was made in error, they just let the money go?

Like if a check was cut to a dead person -- that money is gone forever even if the check isn't cashed?

I'm not gonna try to figure out what you're looking at. If you're lazy and none of us believe you, that's on you

He linked it right after you asked him for a link. He even quoted the pertinent information in a single sentence so you didn't have to open the link because he knows anything over two sentences is called a wall of text by you. What is wrong with you

He asked me if I had Google after he posted the link so I still answered. What's wrong with your reading comprehension?

Terrible time to try and cherry pick

What were the payment errors in FY 2023?

The $236 billion in improper payments were reported by 14 agencies across 71 programs.

More than $175 billion (74%) of errors were overpayments—for example, payments to deceased individuals or those no longer eligible for government programs
    $11.5 billion were underpayments
$44.6 billion were unknown payments—meaning it is unclear whether a payment was an error or not
$4.6 billion were cases where a recipient was en led to a payment, but the payment failed to follow proper statutes or regulations

Yeah I'm asking about that part you posted right there about the $11.5 billion in underpayment. Is Doge going to fix that?
