rumors now are that AD really will need season ending surgery but they’re suppressing the info for Nicos safety
I HATE this, as much as I despise the Mavs tbh. The Lakers would have held AD out until he was 100% ready to return. The Mavs knew he was hurt. But since their fans were protesting, rioting, threatening to return season tickets, etc, they rushed him back. Now Lively is still out, Gafford got hurt, and AD is out for the year potentially.
I feel bad for AD, but not the Mavs or their fans.
PS - hopefully Killa doesn't re-sign with them.
On an aside, I'm now an honorary MAGA fan. The new Mavs owners are just as dumb as probably 98% of the MAGA base. Who trades a 25 year old Luka, for an injury prone soon to be 32 year old big man in today's NBA?

Ok casuals yes AD is hurt but if Mavs make the playoffs in the short term they won the trade. He is 4 all time in PER and a defensive force and can score as well, Dadbod Luke is a great offensive player and all time 10 in PER but cannot stop a traffic cone on defense. Lakers will be destroyed Daddy Joker, Chet, Wemby and others inside and out. Fishing will be their thing early. If Mavs survive injuries AD is beasting look at first game. He would dominate the stiffs on LAL all day. Bigs also have longer top careers perhaps 5 years and Mavs could win a le as constructed LAL no chance.
They do when Luka cannot stop a traffic cone on defense, is out of shape and may bolt. Enjoy fishing early this year with your lack of a quality big.

First off, if that's really you, this ain't a safe place to just share your dox. Second you're saying if they make the playoffs the mavs won the trade in the short term. But in the short term they lost AD for one of the last years of his prime. Made the playoff without him AND Luka, but if it's season ending will be in the POs without either one of them. And he probably just gonna get injured again anyway.
