Judging how well Fox has been scoring right off the bat for the Spurs makes me very excited at thinking how good he can be for us once he became more acclimated to the Spurs plays and when his teammates became more intuned with having him out there with them.

To me he has been even better then advertised and seems perfect for Wemby’s number 2.

Nirvana is a band that due to Cobain's death is unrealized as a whole, They had two great songs and their albums are decent some of the post death released stuff had good potential but was definitely not finished. To compare the two is like comparing Paul Walker to Vin Diesel. I think that I can also make an argument that any group of people who are responsible for inflicting Courtney Love on the public is due serious demerits just on that fact.
Pretty stupid take. In Utero and Nevermind are amongst the best albums of the entire decade and Unplugged is easily the most celebrated unplugged album ever. They quite simply had much better songs and albums than their seattle peers hence why even to this day they were the most played rock band of the last 10 years despite not existing since ‘94. They have translated from one generation to the next far better than anyone else from that era for a reason.

Free Agent at the end of just next season? Hope the man re'ups.

So so many players these days are being shopped in their final year, if not there are the constant rumours they'll be traded or won't sign an extension.

The fact Fox quite vocally wanted to come here is obviously a good sign, I just hope he extends at the first available opportunity and we don't have a season long fox and mouse will he won't he Type of thing hanging over the teams head

Left side of the key shall henceforth be known as the Fox hole. (Ordered my Fox jersey today. NBA.com had a 40% off sale using the code SWISH for those interested if it is still going on. Got the Fox jersey, 4 shirts and a hat for like $200, pretty good deal).

I find it weird that Fox is more efficient on the right side of the rim. I expected him to make more shots on the left side like Brunson (and assume Manu too is more effiecient on the left side)

That's the left side of the rim. Players face the basket, not away from it (or so we hope)

I am guessing De'Aaron didn't know about Victor being out as he seemed pretty upbeat in this interview. I feel bad for both Victor and De'Aaron since the main reason he wanted to come here was to play with Victor. I wonder if he's still going to want to play so that he mesh with the other guys if a playoff spot is now unreachable, or if he'll opt to just have the surgery now?

They better AT LEAST start Castle now. Hand the keys to the team over to Steph and De'Aaron (if he doesn't opt. for the surgery) for the rest of the season.

I say shut him down and let's actually tank. Season just ended for all intents and purposes - even an outlier play-in berth wouldn't give the team much more than an extra game or few in exchange for potentially drastically reduced draft position.

This makes perfect sense. I expect the Spurs to go super try-hard now and do the exact opposite.

He might want to play though. if so, i see no reason to stop him. it might be better for him to learn the schemes and wait till offseason.

yeah his length is noticeable. since we traded dejounte, we've had Tre Jones and Chris Paul as our point guards, both of whom are on the small side. fox is a couple of inches taller with a few inches longer wingspan than either of him, while being a more dynamic athlete.

he's no dejounte when it comes to size and length, but for once we dont have a point guard who just looks undersized and incapable of contesting shots

Some stats I'm watching from here on out.

As of today we are 23rd in the league in steals/game at 7.6. I think that will improve. CP3, and Fox are high end steal generation guys, Vassell has really picked up his game in this area as of late as well. Sochan and Castle should be able to generate steals, and Wemby does as well.

As of today, Fox is shooting .322 from 3. I think that will improve considerably.

Likewise, as of today, Devin is shooting 36.0% from 3. I also expect this to improve.
The last 6 games since Fox has joined, we're averaging 11.2 steals/game, with every game exceeding our pre-Fox average. OKC leads the league (season long) at 10.9/game.

Continue to keep an eye on this stat. Not having Wemby as the backstop might hurt if our guys stop gambling as much, but their hands were still very active against PHX (13 steals).

They do when they're shooting. I've yet to see a NBA player shoot behind his back on high volume. Post the highlights when you find them.
