They took the best softball player in the nation (pitcher) from Stanford, someone apparently really likes women's softball at Tech.
Gotta think they now are one of the schools expected to win the Big 12 in football.
Its a mighty burden to carry. Expectations now exist.
Im reading 2 spots for the Big 12 in the playoffs could happen in 2026.

It will be interesting to see if down the road the SEC and Big 10 drop some teams for others more successful in other conferences.
I think most of the teams in the aforementioned conferences have contracts that involve heavy buyouts to kick them out.
Who graduates kids that become billionaires and like their school sports... Seems important now.
