They don't have much to throw. I guess they could trade their 2025, a 2026 swap, and their 2031 plus matching salary. 2027 through 2030 they gave up unprotected swaps though.![]()
Chris Haynes agent needs to talk to him about the ridiculousness of his video's intros and outros![]()

It will never not be funny how excited they were to get off Tobias Harris' contract only to pay a more inconsistent version of him 50% more.
If I was in zero national commercials and guaranteed to be offered the Supermax, I’d fire my agent too. Why even have one at that point?
Yep. It's a waste of money. If he's smart enough to do it himself, he may as well pocket that money.
The dude has named his news updates after underwear, what are you expecting?
From the report, it sounds like SGA has some other team to handle the media stuff anyway (like commercials). I don't know the full details of what an agent even does beyond negotiate contracts and be an intermediary between the player and the team on the business side of things, so I'm inclined to agree with you! If I were an NBA player I'd be the kind of meddlesome client that wanted to handle everything on my own anywayI've never had an assistant because I just like to do myself, but that's just me
Wow, I didn't notice that before. And they aren't even sponsored by Haines. Chris, you definitely need a new agent man.![]()
I guess. It says something that his team has been doing as well as it has for a time and has like half the nationally televised games the Lakers do.
(NBAtv doesn't count IMO)
Really thought a week back LA was looking scary enough to get to a June series and they proceed to be blown out by Utah and upended by the woeful Charlotte pelicans tonight. Continue the mojo
Charlotte Pelicans? wtf
Luka was awful yesterday lol
Holy the Sixers look toast.
They were winning games when PG and Embiid were out by playing fast. They just look all out of sorts when all three play.
If they end up at #6 (and I don't believe they can make it to #5), OKC gets a pretty good chance to get that pick at #7/#8.
...but maybe it's because we jump into the top4![]()
LA looking tough. Most impressive win even more than destroying Boston on the road without Davis. Could be a sign of LA winning multiple series in May
Lakers would struggle to win more than a game against the top teams in a playoff series tbh. They have several key weaknesses that will be exploited endlessly (lack of size, athleticism, poor defenders, etc).
Damn Trailblazers whomping the Hornets by about 50. Spurs losing to the Hornets was painful.
Sixers are utterly ed at this point. Whole team looks terrible, who knows what Embiid's career looks like at this point. They're stuck in no-man's land at the 6 spot, which gives OKC >50% odds of getting #7 or 8. And that pick is top 4 protected next year. .
To build on Simmons' trade idea, wonder, if they would do #7 + Chet + additional draft assets for Flagg, especially if they're worried about Chet's upcoming extension with his injury history. That might actually get a tanking team to listen.
The best thing OKC can do is jut to keep kicking those picks down the road, they'll need them when ther cap situation gets rought. Unless there's a player worth getting.
And there are always desperate teams willing to mortgage their future.
They could also jump into the top 4.
So the Philadelphia pick is top 4 protected? OKC get it if it's anywhere outside the top 4? As of where they are right now, what pick is Philadelphia projected to get?
top 6 protected
I just looked it up, so it's the following two seasons that it's top 4 protected if it doesn't convey in 2025.
It would take just the right team, but there probably are a few scenarios where OKC could use #7 to get Flagg, but I’m asking for JWill, Chet, #7 and probably another FRP down the road… and realistically, I think only WAS or UTA are the teams that would do this. That’s the kind of package that could instantly turn them into a playoff team. Almost everyone else, honestly could turn into a playoff team (or get on a trajectory towards it) just by adding Flagg - so they’d probably be better off just taking him?
Sixers are in a worse situation than the Suns, tbh.
Suns have an emergency button they can hit whenever (trading Booker for their picks), Sixers don't.
Beal's contract is horrible, but it's over in 2027.
Embiid's is up until 2029, PG's up until 2028.
$118M combined in 2028.
If I was Morey, I'd call Ishbia and offer one of them for Beal straight up. They need to get rid of those contracts and Ishbia would be the only man dumb enough to do it.
But then again, Beal would reject the trade.![]()
