It's pretty ing serious, but at least didn't become a pulmonary embolism like Bosh had. Ingram had one in his arm in 2019 he came back from.
WTF. I thought the out for the season comments was a joke. How bad is thrombosis?

Thanks. I just read about it now in the other thread. I didn't realize it was so serious and also that Bosh had something similar. Do you remember what year Bosh first got it/had it. With Bosh, is it a permanent issue that always has to be managed/treated? Is that why he couldn't play anymore?
Correct. It's either going to be a one and done thing, or it will reoccur and his career is over.
Alright, thanks. Appreciate it.
Also, all you people that were calling Victor lazy, I hope you ing feel terrible about it now. It was clear as day something wasn't right this past week or two, but I thought it was that allergies thing that SA residents had mentioned (due to seeing him struggle to breath), so I didn't think it was that serious. It definitely had nothing to do with laziness as you could tell he was having breathing issues. He looked sick out there. Also, I wanted to add, sometimes when someone is referred to as lazy, they may have a medical condition you don't know about. Sometimes, the person themselves also don't know about it. They may be tired, fatigued and people see that on the surface and mistake that for something else. I'd always recommend to get that checked if you're feeling that way constantly, and if diet, getting extra sleep doesn't change anything.
It re-occured with Bosh. If it happens again with Victor it means he needs to take blood thinners for life and his career is over.
Yeah the allergies thing seemed a little strange seeing as this has been the lowest cedar pollen season I have seen in San Antonio in a long time, probably 15 years. But they kicked his ass last year for a few days when we had a much more robust cedar pollen season.
OK, , that sounds scary. Sucks that it happened that way for Bosh. If taking blood thinners, are you just not able to play sport anymore? Is it an issue of getting hit, hurt and your blood being too thin to not take bumps and bruises or injuries? I assume you also can't go on flights either?
I do remember you or someone else saying that. I should have put two and two together. When it was mentioned it wasn't as bad as last year, and that only affected Victor for less amount of time, should have realized it was something else this season and not solely related to that.
I don't really know anything about medicine, but I would expect if you're on blood thinners you gotta be careful about cuts and bruises since your blood won't clot as well and then how are you going to be dragging Walton and Lanier up and down the court for 48 minutes?
My understanding was that it's not allowed to play on blood thinners?
Iirc, Ausar was fine for months but not allowed to play until his 6 months of taking blood thinners were done.
Bosh's doctors cleared him to but the Heat doctors said no ing way
Get well soon Wemby

I love everything about this picture
Did Wemby issue any kind of statement? Would be reassuring to see him/hear from him at some point
So with Trump intent on making enemies with our former European allies, how long until Trump s start booing Wemby at games and he asks for a trade?![]()
So, for people advocating for the skyhook, maybe it is unblockable, but that’s not the same as undefendable. Watching this video, Kareem makes a few,but if you bump him while he’s turning to launch, you get a lot of clanks.
video doesn't work for me. Do you have a direct link to it? I can't even click on it and view it directly on Youtube.
Here you go. Sorry, some videos want to run only in the native YT environment.
