The McCain/Maxey pairing sounds awkward, I like them individually though. Hitting on McCain is of course a good thing, I just wonder if he ends up being a trade piece down the road if he can bounce back well from his knee injury.
Tbh, landing Flagg might be the only thing that can save the Sixers medium term future. Anything short of that and they are truly ed. Morey’s hopes all riding on a 9% chance at this point. Anything short of that and they’ll be pure trash, at least they’ll probably be able to avoid the tax line.
If they land Flagg, at least they’ll have Flagg and McCain on rookie deals while they ride out Embiid and PG’s contracts. They’d probably be good enough to be a play-in team for a few years while they load manage Embiid and PG like the Clips do with Nephew.

Given where they are at... maybe they should look to cash in on Maxey at some point (and I like Maxey, he was the other guy besides Fox that I hoped might be a Spur to pair with Vic one day, moot point now.)
How bad is Embiid's knee? I read that he said he can't do what he did last year due to his knee, that he might need surgery to fix it to get back that form.

There's no surgery that can change the effects of gravity.
He's too heavy and puts way too much pressure on his knees. He needs a diet
Man Banchero has really been ass this season. At the beginning of his career I figured he'd work through the efficiency issues but now I wonder if he was just never as good as everyone made him out to be. These high usage mid-range heavy iso guys are like fools gold - they trick you into thinking they can get you a reliable bucket during crunch time and deserve all that high usage when in reality they're just killing ball movement and setting you back in the first 45 minutes of every game.
In Tanking News, Zach Collins is starting for CHI today.
Man, Sixers are getting smashed by the Bulls. Kevin Huerter 23pts and 7-11 on threes so far towards the end of the 3rd quarter.
I still can't get over how bad the Sixers are.
Id like to see the Nuggets versus the Celtics for the 2025 NBA le
I'd like to see the Nuggets in the finals, but why against the Celtics? Do you also like the Celtics?
Watch him blow up.
More likely to blow out his O-Ring, but I can see him doing something to piss us all off.
And then go back to being Zollins.
Collins had +41, Sixers are legit the worst team in the league.![]()
One team to watch is Toronto. They have by far the easiest remaining schedule in the league according to tankathon. Combined winning % of just .390 for their last 25 games. It’s going to be difficult for them to not win quite a few games vs tanking opponents. They could pass Philly and push them down to 5th worst record which would increase the odds of Philly keeping their pick and avoid OKC getting a high pick.
.,.........
No
I want Jokic to fight the best
I'm rooting for the Nuggets in that scenario
This is my all time now
Chamberlain at center,
Jokic and Bird at forward
Jordan and Magic at guard
if OKC gets a top4 pick, they'll be good for years
He had 19 points and was a +41![]()
The sixers are truly a terrible team
If that Philly pick jumps into the top 4, OKC doesn’t get it. It’s top 6 protected this year. I’m more worried about the Miami pick. It’s 1-14 protected this year, but completely unprotected next year. They really need to make the playoffs this year to convey the pick. One disaster next year like a Herro injury, and OKC is in the hunt for Dybantsa.
Tim Duncan's in my all-time 5. Jokic hasn't made it there yet. I'd probably go with Hakeem at Center, TD at PF, Jordan at SG. Not sure about the other spots.
Piston’s getting y with the Celts, and why not.
Good on them. Good to see them doing well after a lot of bad seasons. I think they've only had a winning record once or twice (barely over .500) in the past 15 or 16 years. I read if they win this game, it'll be their longest winning streak since 2006-07 season.
Zach Collins with the 21/17/7 tonight lol, he didnt get those numbers in 2 weeks of games with the Spurs.
No doubt about it: Wemby was holding Zach Collins back!
I would love if the league rescinds Ant's second tech, then gives him one back for throwing the ball in the stands after his last ejection.![]()
