I get the rookie wall is a real thing and I can appreciate moderating minutes to handle burnout. Probably gonna cost Castle ROTY though.

I love what CP3 has brought to the Spurs. That said, it feels like a barely 6' shooting guard working on his career legacy stats is not helping anyone except CP3.
It's hard to tell if the Spurs are trying to win, as timvp asserts. I'm not sure what they are doing. It think it's time to be like a good neighbor and let Chris Paul chase his ring with the Lakers.Castle is getting some mixed messages, which is the rookie way in the NBA, but he needs some time on the court as we flounder our way to a 26 win season.

Mitch and everyone else involved in the game management side of the house deserve an F for how they have handled Castle since the All-Star break. It's clear they are ing with him like we have heard other Spurs talk about in the past.

Tony Parker was given the keys to a Championship team and allowed to play through mistakes. They won't even give Castle the keys to one of the worst teams in the NBA (which they are with Victor being out) let alone let him play through his mistakes. Yet they are giving guys who have played much worse than him throughout most of the season much longer leashes.
