Really wishing he gets that finger surgery ASAP.

He's too good to be left playing now that Wemby's out for the season.

They do when they're shooting. I've yet to see a NBA player shoot behind his back on high volume. Post the highlights when you find them.
Alright let's watch a whole bunch of Kareem skyhooks the majority of which don't start facing the basket.

Yes mostly you do finish facing the rim but the majority of the time you're playing back to the basket.

My brother in Christ, the post you are responding to is a literal chart of where players shoot, and someone said they are surprised Fox is listed on the side of the basket, not the left, when in fact it's the left. If you want to content that right is actually left and left is actually right, go right ahead, but stop quoting me because I don't really need to see you demonstrate that you're an idiot.

Players typically LOOK towards the basket when they shoot, not away from it... therefor... we consider the lefthand side of the basket to be the side on the left when you're looking at it.

The fact that I had to explain this to you should force you into some serious reflection of where your life is headed.

Fox been straight dogwater the last three games. Let’s get that San Antonio debut out of the way and shut him down.

Yeah, I'm guessing the only reason he hasn't been shut down is the extended road trip.

It’s hard to believe the Spurs haven’t played a real home game since February 2nd and won’t until March 3rd.

And yeah give Fox 1 or 2 games in front of the home fans and then shut it down.

I’m going to be curious if he will get the max regardless.

My guess is that his deal was already worked out before the trade even happened. It wouldn't surprise me if a slight discount is built in, not quite to the level of what Jalen Brunson did for NYK, but maybe something like 27% of the cap instead of 30%? But the most likely scenario is that they agreed to the max before the trade and that's what they'll do.

There is no way. He was sticking around Sacramento hoping to become supermax eligible and only forced his way here once it became clear he wasn't going to be making the third team in Sac. He'll be signed for the 30% max, possibly with an opt out after year two or three (I forget which), so he can sign for the 35% max then.

I know its rare but some players care about winning/legacy more than getting paid, they know they are going to be rich regardless. We could see players like Fox or even Wemby take discounts so that we can build a solid roster. They certainly seem the type that would at least consider it.

Don't know if it has been posted in any other threads, but Michael Wright has a feature for ESPN today on Fox, on the day he returns to SAC. Lots of good quotes about how he wanted to come here to play with Wemby.

FOX SAID THAT the only real demand he ever made in Sacramento was for the Kings to acquire dynamic wing players (such as Brooklyn's Cameron Johnson). Fox believes that most championship teams are anchored by top-tier wings like Giannis Antetokounmpo in Milwaukee and Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum in Boston.
"That's all I ever asked for," he said. "I told Keegan Murray, and I don't know how many people would agree with me. But I'm like, 'Yo, the best teams in the league outside of Steph [Curry and the Golden State Warriors], their best player is usually a wing. Wings win in this league."
Uh De'Aaron, I have some bad news...

I thought there was an interesting counter to that idea in the article, being that Wemby is that "wing" for us, he just happens to be 7'5" and play C.

Well Wemby certainly plays like a wing on offense. Its my only complaint of him as a player. He need to play like a C on both sides of the ball. He's at his best getting lobs and dunks at the rim and not settling for 8 three pointers a game. Hopefully Fox along with the a PF who can shoot threes will open up more lanes for lobs and easy dunks for Wemby.

If he shoots 38% (or even better as he develops) from 3 like he was in November and December, then I do want him shooting 3s. It's when he's going 1-9 that the 3s are a problem.

Naming the thread after one of the more overrated Seattle bands makes sense for Fox with his play

Well, I didn't want to comment on this as there is so many cir stances going (Victor out, Fox's finger injured, team a bit of a mess talent wise), but he's not looking great. He's not worth supermax IMO. Do you guys think he's even worth the max? He is not playing too well lately .
