I still don't think he's a top-tier prospect. His pocket awareness is still bad. I feel like his ceiling is Nick Foles or Kirk Cousins tbh
I'm with you bene. I really like Ewers, but his foot work is still something to be desired and more than that his pocket awareness is just not there. Too many times he steps into trouble instead of away from it. Maybe a year or two on a pro bench will do him wonders.
With that said, if I were a GM I would take him in RD 4 or 5.
247 talked to Kreul at the Under Armour combine today and he said he's visiting Texas on April 26th for the spring event.

OTF spoke with five-star LB Tyler Atkinson of Loganville, GA today and he said he's been in contact with multiple Texas staff members since the departure of Coach Choice.
The family continues to feel "very positive" towards Texas and an official visit remains "very likely."

OTF talked to someone close to RB Javian Osborne of Forney and the news isn't great there.
Word is they feel other schools are recruiting him harder than Texas is right now, but he has spoken with Coach Scott twice since he was hired.

We should see recruiting pick up a lot across the country with players now allowed to visit campuses again.
Per OTF, they are hearing that March 29th and April 12th will be recruiting weekends in Austin in addition to the end of spring event on April 26th.
Burton at OTF is reporting a former Power 4 head coach should be joining the coaching staff as an offensive analyst, or as the special assistant to Sark.
He was a head coach during the 2024 season, so process of elimination makes it look like it's Neal Brown from West Virginia.

Wells at IT has put in a Texas pick for RB KJ Edwards of Carthage at confidence level of 65%.
He's scheduled to make a commitment on August 2nd, but 247 wrote that Texas is hoping he'll commit closer to his official visit in June.
