Embiid just ruled out for the rest of the season.
I don't use Xitter anymore... so here's a link to a Bluesky post about it: https://bsky.app/profile/shamsbot.bs.../3ljbck27gg22a
Can’t see how anyone sees this whiney crybaby as the future face of the league. es about being double teamed. Ant, if they’re not double teaming you, you’re a sub All Star caliber player. Grow up, and accept the ing challenge.

Philly embracing the tank. Should've done it sooner tbh.
It's fine, his extension just kicked in.![]()
Don't laugh to hard; that could be us if Wemby gets another blood clot after his extension...
Me laughing won't change a thing.
Embiid deserves no sympathy after the he pulled against the Knicks last season.
What did he pull against the Knicks?
Yeah Embiid. Front running ass wipe. That cry baby fit he threw earlier this season after running over Wemby where he got up in the female refs face all aggressively was pathetic. Sixers fans are a bunch of chodes generally too, em.
The only downside is they might gift OKC a lotto pick this season![]()
Embiid deserves no sympathy, agreed, he's laughing all the way to the bank... The Sixers (and the rest of the league) are praying they end up top 6 in this draft, rather than give their pick to OKC.
The lack of a superstar/MVP-caliber player will doom both Memphis and Houston in the playoffs. They've kinda started to cool off already and are getting jumped up in the standings..
OKC and the Doncic Lakers will be our future roadblocks if we ever build a contender around Wemby
If Sixers keep their pick (it's top6 protected), they will have a harder time to keep Yabusele. To keep Yabusele, they had to use the standard MLE on him, which will hard cap them at the first apron. If they have to pay a top6 rookie salary, it will be even more challenging for them to stay bellow that hard cap.
Not wanting OKC to get a pick in the 7th to 10th range might not be the only reason to root for Sixers losses this season.
You know what, now that I think about it, I think Luka is going to draw a lot more players to LA to want to play with him (even if he is a bit of a ball hog, he does still pass the ball). I think players are going to want to play with Luka more so in LA than they did with Lebron, so yeah, Lakers could stay relevant for a long time, which is very annoying. ing Mavericks, or more specifically, Nico. He gave them an underserved lifeline that could set them up for years of contention (if Luka stays and is relatively healthy during that time).
OKC, sure, but the Doncic centric Lakers will be terrible on defense, and have no assets to rebuild with.
Luka would be one of the few stars that I would not want to play with if I were a player. He’s a huge temperamental baby, and it makes me wonder what he may be like behind closed doors based on the behaviors he shows publicly.
Ironically Luka with AD would've been an incredible pairing, just plug in a bunch of 3 and D players, and you have everything set.
I wouldn't count Amen Thompson out from reaching that level and this century we have seen two of the most dominant le runs from teams without a franchise guy in his prime, namely 2004 Pistons and 2014 Spurs.
I'm not ready to curse Nico yet, as LA is going to have a hard time building the supporting cast Dallas did around Luka. That Doncic plus Dereck Lively combination was going to be a problem for the west for years.
Just gotta hope Luka leaves in FA
As much as I'm not an Embiid fan, he was in the midst of an all time regular season peak from '20-'24 and on paper this looked like their best team of this era (granted, George is banged up/fallen off a cliff and they still needed a starting a four, but had the draft capital + salary ballast to acquire it), so it'd have been interesting to see what he'd have done with it.
Lost in the Harrison crucifying (decisions of this magnitude are made at the ownership level) and the Doncic absolving/mythologizing (apparently he's a victim) is this: Just how bad was his behavior/life style that they felt compelled to make an unprecedented trade?
Call me crazy, but I think Blazers have a legit chance of making the play-in.
Suns and Mavs are done due to obvious cir stances, Blazers are on a 14-5 run right now.
Damn where’d this Portland team come from? I thought they sucked. Hammering the Cavs
I just keep coming back to the video where someone literally snatches a beer out of his hand in the locker room, and wonder if maybe he’s slipping into alcoholism. They may have tried some soft interventions, but those never work.
I don't think so, they were most likely freaked out by empty calories making him even fatter. LA will have hard time to build around Luka and they know that clock is ticking if they want him to sigh extension. Surely he is assessing his chances for rings with them and LeBum will not play that good forever. But it's LA and big market glamour may draw in some high profile FAs and undeserving fakers could become very strong. I'd hate it.
Segment 3 mentioned drinking and hookah issues.
