It's not his thumb. It's his pinky finger which is taped together to his ring finger while playing. He will be fine after he gets the surgery and becomes the full time lead guard from the start next year which he will be.
Fox should be the starting PG and we will see his true self next season, as many have said. He'll likely be out after 3/17.
In Sacto, the team was built for him over a period of 7 seasons. He goes to a team built for Wemby, then Wemby goes out. The team isn’t particularly suited for his game right now, and he’s struggling. Don’t overthink this.
Yeah,he needs to get his finger fixed, then go through training camp with the team.
Poor offensive system + poor defensive system + octogenarian oganizational dictator + scrub interim coach + no Wemby + no one who can consistently shoot from outside + running alongside midget Chris Paul.
So you’re saying it’s an inside job?
big game from him...Now sit him and get him his surgery...Lets tank...Cant let dallas get below us.
“What’s wrong with Fox”… Nothing. I guess some people were expecting too much? He’s what would be the 4th best player on a championship roster. Looks good to me. Just have to find/develop options 2 & 3.
Trying to show the fans it was a good trade by giving him all the minutes and shots. A couple more chances for the fans to see him cook before shutting it down imo.
It’s clear Fox is a huge talent upgrade and will be the man for us at PG when it’s time to win games again. He’s a dynamic player who has never been a high percentage 3 PT shooter. The hope is after the finger surgery he resumes his capability of shooting 35% or better from 3 and that will be effective for us to win games at the rate of legitimate contending team as Wemby returns and we add more talent.
Should be an easy fix when Paul retires or comes off the bench. If he still insists on coming back and starting, tell him thank you and bye. We didn’t trade for Fox just to play him out of position. The backcourt should be Fox and Castle to start next year.
It could be. But only if Castle learns to shoot and hit free throws.
Who isn’t out of position?
Paul and Vassell at the starting lineup
Keldon as the lead scored off the bench (maybe that’s the role he should play)
Castle on the bench
Barnes and sochan as backup centre
Fox at sg
Even wemby launching 3s was suspect. He’s just so good at everything that it looks ok. He could be so much more impactful with a better mix.
One of the silver linings that I've learned to appreciate from Wemby's condition is the extended time he'll have to look at his film and refine his game in an analytical way, being prevented from suiting up.
He's got plenty of tape to review and reshape his game in the coming months. I'm excited for him to come back and see what he looks like.
I'm expecting him to come back with DRob's body, Shaq's post game and Curry's shot
[only 90% joking]
What, no Jordan's leaping ability?? What a scrub smh.....![]()
He was never as good as people here insisted in the first place. He wasn't even close to being in the All-Star conversation and the Kings are clearly Sabonis' team. He's good, but this is what he is.
He's getting surgery so lets get this thread to 1000 posts before he comes back, about how awful a player he is.
Does he play the next two games or is he done?
