Yes, things were better when Nixon/Reagan were president. Trans culture didn't exist outside of a comedy horror movie. Men were men, women were women, gays were gays and stayed in their cliques, and most people weren't overweight or obese in America.

The internet and social media and swipe dating apps from Tinder onward are terrible. Online dating sites were actually a good concept, but the swipe apps ruined them. Social media has killed and injured millions of lives. The internet has been a mixed bag but overall has caused society to become much more introverted and physically near-sighted, both of which are objectively negative and the former is also bad for small businesses and good for the oligarchy. The internet, video games, and especially social media have contributed greatly to the mass increase in mental health disorders nationwide which is great for big pharma and in general the big medical complex's profiteering, but terrible for the masses and society.

Price inflation again kills small businesses along with the everyday consumer who has been hurt by inflation that has greatly surpassed real wages and salaries. A lot of this is due to irresponsibility in congress and globalism.

Heck, all of that and more were significantly better when Dubya Bush was president... forget the 70s and 80s.

You're not wrong on a lot of that, but you're being sarcastic when the truth is serious.
