The reality that he wasn't killed/slaughtered is a blessing as it most likely led to his victory in November. Americans love that . That MSM/ALL SIDES did not exploit that assassination attempt in the intervening months to Election Day was extremely strange. It was almost like it never happened. But Americans saw it, went back and replayed it as we're apt to do as Americans. It changed nobody's Trump vote, but how many votes did it change for Harris? How many people now voted and for Trump who would not have voted had he not been shot, or, shot at again in Florida?

    dunno

I don't think it's knowable down to any data point but the vote tally. These things are always overdetermined in multiple directions.

But the El0n Musk boost was significant, over $290 million dollars, mostly in 2024

    Look what it got him.

    Commissar like status. Shadow government.

You've had your oligarchs as well...working in the shadows.

Musk is working in the sunlight.

that's hilarious, DOGE refuses to release its org chart or any records, denies doing anything on its own and pretends an uninvolved nonen y is in charge of DOGE instead of El0n

none of this is above board, nobody voted for El0n Musk

if Trump undermines his maximal tariff strategy, as he seems to be doing, volatility will moderate

until the next Government shutdown standoff in late summer

small change in the big picture, but Trump's business tax in this case is concentrated all in one sector

Collection of the tariffs will begin April 3, and Trump said they would be "permanent." He said the United States could end up collecting as much as $100 billion from tariff revenues.

    Probably no

Trump is already trying to fix the 2026 elections

I would caution, however, against underestimating voters

Like I said a fortnight ago...I wouldn't mind seeing your House impeach him endlessly come January '27.

And frankly I believe he'd have an outstanding time at it himself. Everyone would get their say.
