I was a little surprised Spurs didn't waived Minix to sign a new player when he was out for the season. It wouldn't have hurt Minix since his contract was guaranteed and Spurs could have re-sign him this summer. Maybe they didn't do it because they feared a team would claim him from waivers.
If it's the reason why they haven't done it, they must be quite high on him.

The dude was balling and was shooting 3 pointers at high accuracy in the G league. I thought he will get a chance to play in the league mid-season but unfortunately he got hurt. Here's hoping he recovers and features in the squad next season.

    And?

Were talking about a two way player.
Then why are you so worked up about him? Completely irrelevant.

you're the one all bent out of shape about him. I'm just telling you what I think is going on with him. He shot the three at 41% at just over 7 attempts/game this season. It's probably worth seeing if he can play in the NBA once he heals up.

Reed Sheppard is averaging 30ppg in G-league, can't stay on the floor in the real thing.
Unfortunately Minix looks too slow for the NBA.

    Sure.

    Maybe.

    Probably.

It's not like most two-ways pan out.

It's not like you wasted a lottery pick on him.

Might as well send Castle and Wesley down so they can try to win something this season imo. Also helps with the tank.

Coach King & Co. have done a good job filling in the holes from injuries and G-League attrition. They were actually keeping their opponents under 100 ppg for most of the regular season; they're around 103 now which is still impressive.

It is sad that a team as bad as ours has zero talent in the G League - I don’t see one person having a chance of making our team or any NBA team to be honest

Who is that? Riley Minix? I can't think of anyone else. Anyone else I'm missing?
