I got Mich St, Florida, Duke, and Houston tbh.
Well gents, the grain has been separated from the chaff. Lots of great matchups and storylines. All four one seeds and three of the four two seeds are represented.
Cooper Flagg and a talent draped Blue Devils team versus a Bama team that has the ability to flat shoot the the ing lights out. Mark Sears and Bama torched BYU in the sweet 16 sinking a tournament record 25 threes. If they light it up again, they could all that Duke talent to the NBA early.
Houston and Tennessee should be a low scoring slugfest as both teams are near the bottom at pace and two of the best defensive teams in the country. The great equalizer here is shooting. Houston is the best three point shooting team in the country at 40%.
Florida on paper should overpower Texas Tech, but TT is scrappy and are coming off of a big comeback win over Arkansas. There's also the question of how bad Condons ankle injury is. If he's limited this game could be a lot closer.
And last but certainly not least is number one overall seed Auburn against Tom Izzo and Sparty. Izzo is the last of his kind...a gritty, old school coach who wins with not only talent but sheer will and toughness. He'll need every ounce of it to take down Johni Broome and Auburn.
Tournament fun fact: Since the tournament expanded to 64 teams in 1985, all four number one seeds have only made the Final Four once. That was 2008...Kansas, UCLA, Memphis and North Carolina.
I got Mich St, Florida, Duke, and Houston tbh.
It’s possibly all number 1’s are going to the Final Four.
There's a good chance we see it happening more often. In the new era of NIL and transfers you will see a lot more of the power conference teams plucking the talent away from lower level teams. It will mean less Cinderellas in the tournament. We are already seeing the effects with the number of SEC teams that made the tournament.
I wouldn't be surprised with an All-SEC final 4.
I'm 96.4% on my bracket right now...have Duke winning it all
Darrion Williams is impressive.
would be great to see TT hang on to this. the eSS-eEE-sEE
jfc 3 straight 3s , two by some named Haugh and TT missing the front end of 1&1s twice in between lmao tie game
what a choke job by Tech, idiots
Yep. TT pissed that game away
I've tried to give Alabama the benefit of the doubt somewhat in this matchup, but I think Duke wins comfortably.
Kon playing well on both ends early
Kon is impressive with his IQ and touch. He's kind of like a SF Jokic with the soft hands.
Flagg sunk a three early but has not looked great outside of that
Kon with the nice lob
Kon with the tie up.
Well I've seen enough. Draft him.
Kon really makes Duke better.
Maluach is a 7' 2" Biyombo. I could see a use for him on the Spurs.
He's almost the perfect glue guy. He does all the things you want done well very well.
Knipp may be the best player on the floor right now
Duke is just overwhelming Bama
Flagg's Bernoullin s tonight
He's playing himself out of our reach![]()
