I don't see the currently projected 5-7 teams picking Kon. The Raptors, Nets and 76ers don't really need a connector or, should I say Konnector?
Unless his measurements are at the combine hard to see him still on the board at 8 or 9.

I don’t think the Raptors will draft Kon. I think they will go with a C or PG which leaves Maluach, Queen, Jaku. I think they take Maluach and develop him behind Poeltl.
The Nets need everything so they will go best player available which is probably Kon, but could see them taking anyone of Kon, Tre, Queen, Jaku.
The Sixers I can see taking Kon also, but could also see them taking Tre, Queen or Maluach given Embiids health issues.
If the Spurs stay at 8 I think there’s only about a 50% chance Kon is still there.
Bet OKC would love him if that Philly pick falls and seems like Jakucionis likely draft position is hard to pin down, giving another strike against Kon being there at #8. Maybe if Knueppel is gone it means Tre Johnson is still on the board though. And if not Maluach is probably still there and maybe the Spurs can trade down and pick up an extra first for their troubles.
Don't discount OKC since they get Philly's pick if it's #7 or lower.
Duke showing everyone why Sears is going to struggle at the next level. He's just not big enough. Someone still might take a flier on him in the second round as a gunner off the bench.
Yep I’m counting on Sixers falling to 5th in the draft order which increases the odds of them keeping the pick. Nets won today so Sixers are in pole position.
But yeah if OKC gets the 7th pick I think there is a very good chance they take Kon.
I just can't see Kon lasting to #8. Would be thrilled to get him if the Spurs don't get in the top 4 though.
Imo, it depends on who gets the #5-7 picks.
As I said the other day, we don't want Hornets, Sixers or Blazers in that range.
I think the Nets will swing for someone with higher upside, they just started their rebuild.
Pelicans, Raptors and Heat need a point guard.
The only guards I want are Harper or Edgecombe if in the top 4. I don't want Kon with the Spurs better pick. Rather have Fleming over Kon.
This forum always has their favorites. Last year it was Sheppard and Dillingham.
Can probably get Fleming with the later first.

Flagg, Maluach and Kon will all go top 10 easy. Probably top7-8.
Someone might go for Queen or another wildcard and give us a chance at Kon. The nightmare would be OKC getting him.

Philly won't be losing that pick to OKC. They are in great position now to keep it.

tbh I don't know f*ck all about college basketball these days but I did say that it would come down to which tall African guy or Mulatto stepped up in crunchtime and that would be the difference. The Mulatto for Florida hit a bunch of threes while the Mulatto and tall African guy with dreads for tech missed some key free throws so my prediction came true IMO
