GS was even taking the ball away on the dribble. It was like what you see in high school.

Wasn't just TD. The whole crew was there to witness that atrocity tbh.

Timmy looks like the weed was wearing off

It was an ass whooping plain and simple.
Maybe the guys were still tired from the Boston game but damn! At one point the warriors scored like 18 in a row, that should have been an indicator something was terribly terribly off. This game didn't do Mitch any favors. Somebody is seriously going to get yelled at.

I long ago stopped worrying about ROTY for Castle and started worrying that this dysfunctional tanking squad could lead him to develop some bad habits.
While his offense has improved his defense has fallen off significantly in the last month +.
We've just seen horrid defense from this squad almost every night for weeks and weeks.
    It's disgusting.

And now a stroke on top of it. Time catches up with us all.

That said, the Spurs probably could have done a better job with putting in a succession plan. Mitch Johnson ain't it, but I don't think anyone expected him to be it either...just like they didn't expect Pop to go down early in the season.

Bring back Becky or Bud or let Brett take over...anything is better than this.
Pop is also the president of basketball operations so I have my doubts he was worried about a succession plan for his other job as the coach of the team

It's actually quite comical to see Gregg with two g's end up being an old selfish elitist when his whole schtick is railing against those people and "getting over yourself"

The audacity of that article talking about Pop deserves to "go out on his own terms".

Dude pushing 80 and had a stroke but still won't step away and give someone else a chance after 5 championship and at least 100 million dollars in just salary earnings alone

I get what you're saying, but I think the difference is, the Hawks are winning games and he's contributing to it. Risacher just had 36 points (I don't think/remember Steph even scoring this much in a game all season?) in a Hawks win last night. Maybe how players finish the season will stick with the voters. Seeing the Spurs get spanking with Steph playing poorly isn't going to leave a good impression, and we're also playing some decent teams the rest of the way.
Risacher had also a terrible game the night before his 36 pts game with -20 5 pts in 26 mn. Rookies have their ups and down, it's part of the process. I don't think neither Sarr or Risacher are a threat to a potential ROTY.

On a side note.. dat FNT prospect is juicy tbh... Vicor, Sarr, Risacher, Bilal, Salaun...

Good reminder for the front office that the good fortune of landing Wemby isn't enough, and there's still work to do!

The problem is the fo doesn't like to turn over the roster very much.

Had Fox not made it clear he wanted to play for the Spurs that trade wouldn't have happened
and even with that trade you can see that the FO didn't want to part with the current core players.

Like Scott has noted the Spurs like to keep the core rotation team together and have a limited roster turn around from year to year.
