Darn, just starting watching the video. Why didn't De'Aaron get it fixed sooner back when he was still with the Kings. He said the Doctor/surgeon (or whoever) said it was the worst one he's seen and it started healing wrong. He said the tissue was healing under the joint, but it's supposed to be healing over the joint. Said it's never going to be totally straight again.
He showed that if he didn't tape the pinky with the ring finger, the pinky would stay bent so that is why he had to tape it up to play. I didn't realize it was that bad. IMO, he shouldn't have been playing like that and I wonder why he didn't get it fixed sooner. I would have thought it he was allowed to play, it would only be because it wasn't going to get any worse, but when he said it started healing wrong, I wonder if it would have made a difference if he got it fixed right away. Hopefully it doesn't affect him going forward.
Edit: Thanks for posting the video.
