Like I said earlier, the MAVs should have gotten more but they weren’t crazy for trading Luka. His defense is straight up embarrassing. I’m not sure if building around him to hide his defense is worth the effort. Mavs didn’t think so.

Can Luka get in shape and be better on defense? Sure. But I don’t believe people can change. You are what you are. That’s like people still waiting on James Harden to show up for a meaningful playoff game. Good luck with that.
