Donovan Mitc with a very odd decision to miss a free throw on purpose with more than a minute to go, and then they lose by 1.

Pacers did it twice in three games, were also down 7 with a minute to go in the closeout game against the Bucks.

NBA teams should absolutely stop with the cowardly and lame 'fouling up 3' tactic. So glad OKC and Cavs got burned on consecutive nights.

That being said, the Pacers are on a generational 2-year run of opponents injuries helping them in the playoffs Bucks (twice), Knicks and now Cavs getting decimated.

Giddey got taken out of games because he couldn't shoot and his defense was awful. Percentages look decent, but he was the guy everyone left wide open.
They could've kept him another year, but they were never going to pay him with so many others also being in line for extensions.

I'd still rather keep Chet than Williams, as Mr. Body said he's doing the same thing SGA does on offense.
I guess it's going to be about which one accepts a lowball from OKC, if either one does.

Imo, Williams was actually the reason they lost against the Mavs last year.
Yeah, they got bullied in the paint, but all the games were really close and Williams scoring just 17ppg even if it was on decent efficeny wasn't enough. He didn't put enough pressure on Luka/Kyrie like the Celtics could with all of their perimeter players.

Obviously it's not something that should be held against him since that was his first legit playoff series, but last night's game was concerning.
And yet, with the ball in his hands, he shot 37.8% on 4 3G atts per game. Not exactly the guy you would leave open now. My theory is that some guys need to be a 1 or a 2 option, and if you shove them down to a 4 or 5 option, they die on the vine. I’m well aware of his shortcomings in OKC, but they seem to magically have vanished with a larger role to play.

Curry hurt. Came up limping. Looks like a hamstring. This series is over if this is serious.

This is why making the playoffs is a must for the Spurs next season. Need to see our guys in the pressure cooker. How will they react to this level of intensity and physicality? Can Wemby handle 36-40 minutes a night of it on both ends?

This will be the timeout where the Timberwolves players hear that Curry is out... that should give them an emotional boost. As bad as they've played, they're incredibly lucky to only be down 12.

Why is it basketball more enjoyable when points are hard to come by? Is it nostalgia?

Looks like the hamstring. They are cooked for the series for sure then. Kerr playing him 46 minutes 48 hours ago was a mistake especially in a game they led comfortably.

Warriors offense is abysmal without Curry and his gravity on the floor. Buddy Hield and Kuminga are dog- . Warrior are cooked.

That won’t matter if Curry is out.

Yeah, if Curry is out long the Dubs are cooked, but he'll prolly be back by game 3 imo.
