    that + the tragic death

By all kind of metrics he has never been a top 10... he was 12 now getting pushed back
Exactly. Before he murder/suicided his daughter by forcing his chopper to fly in fog that shut the LAPD fleet down for a children's basketball game, he was 12 and dropping. See avatar.

Ah, ok. I thought I'd missed an earlier reference since the discussion was about Giddey, and Castle and Giddey had relatively similar profiles as young versatile guys with shooting issues.

I don’t care who wins but is it me or do the Pacers get a ridiculously favourable whistle? Some of the they do on defense are borderline MMA moves.

That hit on Hunter was crazy and downright dangerous.

Warriors defense is fantastic but I keep thinking old legs they’re not going to make it.

Too bad Booth and Malone were complete morons. They could have had one of a dynasty in Denver. Just needed a little more depth off the bench. 1-2 more guys.

It‘s not that they were stupid, it‘s that they weren‘t on the same page. I never even realized they drafted Hartenstein, but Malone refused to play him. If he actually cared about developing rookies during the season, they would have one of a bench

Imo, they're right on the line of allowed aggression, refs are doing a solid job.
Mitc had 30 FTs in two games, can't ask for more.

I've seen very few post game references to how absolutely gassed Donovan Mitc was at the end of that loss to Indiana. The announcers mentioned it multiple times. He played 36 minutes in that game. Jokic played 42 minutes in their win against OKC-- more than any Thunder player-- and he was still the best player on the floor at the end, scoring 12 points in the last 5 minutes.

Why is Boston afraid of attacking the basket? They act as if they are going to get mauled if they go anywhere near the paint. NY has weak inside defense. If Boston would stop chucking 3s every possession and go inside, they could get easy buckets and even free throws chances.

BTW, I am sick of Brunson being allowed to mail people and no foul, but if they breath on him, he gets 2 FTs.

Cleveland load-managed their players to the point they have no stamina tbh.

This round is showing that home court advantage is meaningless. Two 60 win teams down 0-2 wow.

when I saw Tatum bringing up the ball with 10 seconds left, I just knew he'd keep it too long. Every guy on that team understands ball movement except for Tatum when he decides it's hero-ball time.

Man the Knicks are playing the Celtics like they just don't care how many points they are up by.

Bridges back to back games taking Tatum cookies.

If I was 12 years younger and single I'd be paying whatever price it took for a Knicks game 3 ticket. That place is going to be pure pandemonium.

The young celtics coach choked also…kept that timeout in his pocket and allowed the choker tatum to ….surrender the ball after dribbling away from the basket instead of attacking the rim…

Not sure why some people picked the Celtics to repeat. Seems impossible to repeat now and the last one that did it was because they were overwhelmingly better than the rest of the league.

it's very obvious OKC is far and away the best team in the west, it honestly isn't close, Denver literally abused them through sheer experience, playing every trick in the book. It won't last.

There aren't any really great teams lately. And none of them can play more than one style - meaning, if one thing isn't working, they can't shift it up. Maybe this year's Warriors, plus they have experience. Boston is just so mindless with their chucking. The least impressive champion we've seen in a long, long time.
