The GDP was growing at over 6% when Biden pushed through the WAY too big American Rescue Plan and followed up with completely unnecessary lol “Inflation Reduction Act”. The pandemic for sure caused the initial inflation, but Biden pushed it WAY higher. Refer to that chart I posted multiple times if you need a refresher.

Inflation was a given once the pandemic hit as supply chains were shut down due to Covid and there were labor shortages. There was inflation around the world. At the time Biden signed ARP our GDP was humming at 6% and we were well on our way to recovery. There was no need for ARP and all of the disposable income it put into people's pockets driving inflation even higher. ARP was a huge part of what cost Biden the election as inflation was one of the top issues on voter's minds, well not your mind, since you never said about inflation getting as high as 9% and based on your question here never even understood why it got that high under Biden.

Compare the US inflation rate to other countries post-Covid and ask your self why ours continued to rise compared to theirs. Notice anything different other countries did? They didn't pump in 1.9 trillion to an economy with a 6% GDP.
