as long as there's some progress it's good. He's swishing all those jumpers and it's still early in the offseason. I'm not getting my hopes up, but he's also not a lost cause. He's clearly putting the work in, so we'll have to see how that translates.

The problem is, he's got to be able to shoot them with confidence in the games. There will be a lot of high pressure games and situations where he's going to have to take a shot and he can't pass those up if he's wide open.

Man i keep seeing Aaron Gordon, and hope for a similar arch for Jeremy. The Aaron Gordon in Orlando was nowhere near the player he’s become today. If realized that would be an amazing pairing with Wembs.

Aaron was another player who was super charged by playing with Jokic. My hope for Wemby’s developmental arc is that he becomes the supercharger for our machine.

Jokic is an offensive supercharger, Wemby will be a defensive supercharger.
Can't ask Wemby to do the same thing on offense as Jokic because he's probably the best teammate enabler since Magic.

He's working on his shot, and that's good. We'll just have to wait and see if it translates. I still say we should let him be an RFA next offseason and let him have a Lonnie Walker-like "earn it" 4th year.

Not sure making 4 shots in a work out video, with two of them in slow mo to lengthen the video is a positive sign. That said, better than not having a work out video. We hoping they can at least find a segment where he made four or five straight

Yeah, Tim Duncan is always in my starting 5 all-time. I don't see how you can not have him especially if you're a Spurs fan.

As great and Chamberlin and Jokic are, they have less Championships between them that TD has by himself. You come off as a huge Spurs fan, but then disrespect them by not having the greatest Spur in your starting 5. Doesn't sit well with me.

I’d would pair Tim with Jokic. Bird, Curry, and Jordan as my others

Again, don't see how a Spurs fan can put either Chamberlin or Jokic (2 and 1 ring players) ahead of TD in their all-time starting 5 team. Both these guys had huge offensive numbers, but where are the rings? TD could have won 8 if a few things broke the Spurs' way. The Spurs' margin for error was a lot lower than other teams of the era too without an almost unlimited budget like some teams had. I wouldn't even pick Jokic ahead of Duncan if it came down to it. I value TD on defense and offense. Jokic is great on offense (not lately, though). Huge loss from the Nuggets.

I'm sorry, nothing personal against CW, but I am already sick of the disrespect with the media and former players hardly ever mentioning TD and always passing him over when talking about great players, but now, Spurs fans forgetting him too. Nah, F that. And F-all the flashy players that never win rings or only win 1. They can keep their stats.

I don’t like all the drama LeBron constantly brings to his teams. I know he is an all time great but he is also a diva and since I already have great players on my team I figure I’d have a killer like Bird with no drama than a slightly better player in LeBron is who king of excuses.

I also would prefer to have some spacing on my team and Bird is the better shooter.

I see what you mean, this team does not need that much of playmaking with Jokic and Curry anyway

Fun...But only one ball, how much amazing passing and ball dominance do you need at the cost of D? Bird and Jordan need and deserve the ball, take both over Magic. Joker too.
Wilt's way before my time and while his athleticism was incredible for the time, would it be now in todays NBA?

Jordan-Bird-Joker would be amazing, bullying the out of opponents, I think probably better with a D anchor like Timmy/Hakeem/DRob and a PG that D's and shoot's like CP3/Kidd/maybe Stockton or even Lebron if you wanna replaces Magic size- but Lebron gonna want the ball and no one, not even Bron or Wilt should take the ball outta Jordans hands. Maybe Steph as a pure off-ball, movement shooter. maybe even Pippen for just a defense monster team

Joker-Hakeem-Bird-Jordan + PG or wing that can D or shoot or both- 2 top-10 D defenders ever maybe 3 depending on 5th guy, 2 best/toughest compe ors/ talkers ever, everyone but Joker is switchable w/D versatility, anyone can hit the 3 except maybe D center but I think Timmy/Hakeem/DRob all had good enough touch to get to at least avg 3 if they played in the difference era.

Joker running as point-center with Bird-Jordan-Steph/guard of choice up top and any of Timmy/Hakeem/DRob as the screener/cutter/Reb/mid-range guy. That's the beautiful game!

Bird over Lebron on that team, better offensive player, almost as much creation, tougher, and most importantly Jordan and Joker would get fed up and beat the s*** out of Lebron. Lebron could never handle being 2nd dog. Joker-Timmy-Bird-Jordan-Curry care way more about winning than Lebron, Bronny would pout, demand ball, half-ass-it and get his ass kicked by Jordan and/or Joker, and take his talents elsewhere.

Timmy played 19 seasons. Next year will be Jokers 11th @ age 30. Dave-Tony-Manu-Kawhi are way better than anyone Joker has player with and Joker is the biggest overall O mismatch in history. Give Joker a chance to catch-up.
But Timmy and Joker together...wow. Praying Joker somehow lands here and gets a few 'ships next to Wemby! Joker's game is gonna age incredibly well, 16th all-time in both Ast/g and Reb/g and his first season was a 41st pick proving himself with a Rookie coach, otherwise he's closer to top-10 in both-EVER-that's crazy.
38% on 3.4/g over the past 5 season, easily the best passing big ever, as complete Offensively as anyone ever and simply a top 10 creator ever. Doesn't rely on athleticism at all. Durable. He's gonna play til 40, just like a lot of the best passers ever.

/sorry, this is all off-topic- just love these discussions hahaha

I understand the point but acting like Bird could handle being 2nd dog is quite su ious. Also Bird is a high usage player who used to get the ball in his hands a lot. People like to underestimate what kind of beast prime Lebron is tbh...

But then again starting 5 are personal preference. Exercice is not meant to solve tactical issues like ball sharing. You'd have to rethink the team to get something more coherent.

Picking a goat team yet functional is almost impossible task, at one point you trust talented dudes will figure out, I guess in any list you want high IQ players willing to play off the ball for the greater good. With this kind of profile you may want to let MJ coming off the bench
