Teams typically don't split their MLE, but you absolutely can. If I recall, the Spurs did it recently (last couple of seasons).
Yes, we can

What sort of player is Nigel Hayes? What position? Is he a FA, or will his team let him out of his contract if he gets an NBA offer?
Celtics fans love him. Good rim protector, high IQ, great short roll passer.
Idk how much will he ask for.
Another Celtic I'd consider is Hauser.
6'8, 42% career 3pt shooter, 27 years old, under contract up until 2029 for 10 to 12 million a year.
Their '28 swap we own just got more value, but there's no way they'll be out of the playoffs even if Tatum doesn't get back to his current level.

I like Markkanen on the Spurs, but only on a reasonable price tag, which is now the MO of Danny Ainge.
I thought we had exorcised all you Markenen people after he signed that contract…
If Utah wants to send us #5, 2 future FRPs, and the Markenen albatross for Harper, Keldon, and filler, then we can start a convo.
Yabu is the way.
That’s when I tapped out. He was complicit in rigging it so he couldn’t be traded this year.
30 Years old SF/PF, 6'7"/6'8" with a 7'3" wingspan.
He has been on the first Euroleague team in the last two season. Great shooter, quite complete offensive player, decent athlete, fine defender, he is just a really nice player in Europe.
He is under contract in Turkey but has reportedly a NBA buyout. His team's GM said there were NBA interest in him and that they would let him go if it is what he want.
Regarding Yabusele, Sixers adding the 3rd pick rookie scale salary to their payroll complicates the re-signing of Yabusele for them. Sixers might only be able to offer him the taxpayer MLE, especially if they decide to re-sign Grimes.
If you trade back with Utah get John Collins not Lauri plus #5 and whatever else you can get for #2 and fillers from us.
There's no world in which I'd trade #2 for #5 + Collins.
Any takers for 39 year old Al Horford? Boston probably moves on from him with JT’s injury.
No one on that Jazz roster is worth trading down. They would need to give up up stuff. Markennan is a nice player, but he ain't worth a lottery pick. Dude has mostly been an eh player for his career with one all-star season on the Jazz and then a bunch of injury seasons. Yes, maybe he was injured so the Jazz could tank, but his salary plus the ransom Ainge would demand do not make sense for the Spurs. I'd rather see them throw money at Naz.
i dont really care for Yabusele tbh. nice story, and if he signs for cheap-ish like at the BAE level thats fine. i dont think hes good enough to justify much more. he's also 29
Come on man
I meant multiple picks not just five from this year.
Just five and Collins would be a no go.
Hoping for another 1,2 when we have one in hand? No thanks.
Nic Batum would actually be a decent vet. He has a player option for about 5 million this summer.
His wife wanted LA, NY, or back to France.
