Eastern Conference Finals: 3 Knicks over 4 Pacers in 7

Western Conference Finals: 1 Thunder over 6 Timberwolves in 6
This would be my best case scenario.

Edit: I totally misread your post. I thought you were picking Indy and Minny to win their series.

I'd love for OKC to lose only because it makes them a bit more likely to jump on the Giannis grenade and not the Spurs. Nobody else has the kind of draft capital the Thunder have, if they really want someone, they will get them.
oklahoma city isnt a free agent magnet like the laker, knicks, warriors,etc..

Pacers, Timberwolves, Knicks, OKC in that order for me. I'd like Jalen Brunson to win a Championship the most out of the remaining players, but I don't like New York the team at all.

Market doesn't matter when you're a top contender.
Noone would join them without a big overpay if they were still tanking, but veterans always go to top contenders if they're ring chasing.

I actually hate his foul baiting, unwatchable.
I like Thibs, Hart and OG.

Please God give us the field against OKC. I'll even buy a Haliburton jersey if I have to go that far.

Giannis isn't a free agent, the Bucks could consult with him if needed on where he ends up (if he does request a trade) but OKC could throw one of Chet or JDub and tons of draft picks to win virtually any bidding war.

OKC will steamroll their way to an NBA Championship now imo. They'll beat in Minnesota in 6 games or less and then beat either EC team in 5. Denver was their curveball cause of Jokic but these other teams don't have anyone in the vicinity of his greatness. Minnesota is a more well-rounded team than Denver, but Ant is their best player and is too inconsistent and disappears for long stretches of games.

And neither the Knicks or Pacers stand a chance against OKC. It will be a non-compe ive Finals imo.

Yeah today’s game was their game 6 in OKC 2014 for them. Now that they got that demon off their back, they will steamroll the other teams tbh.

Any Finals combination not involving the Knicks will be hilarious tbh. Silver is probably gonna force a Giannis to Lakers trade for Rui and some 2nds

OKC playing Caruso on Jokic and mostly small guys through the game makes you wonder why Spurstalk is so obsessed with having an over 6’9” SF or PF, tbh

The blind mice did not call fouls on Caurso though. I don't know why the refs dont call off ball fouls these playoffs.

Yeah, you can play whoever if you're allowed to beat the out of the opposition team's superstar.
That's the most annoying thing about current NBA for me, tbh.

Playing on the perimeter and in the post is like playing two completely different sports.
As soon as the ball is in your hands on the perimeter, you can't be touched. Everything is a foul.
Meanwhile in the post defenders have a license to kill and refs just don't care. Then casuals complain about the lack of post play.

This is why I don't complain about Wemby staying out in the perimeter and either going for the shot, or seeing if his pump fake works and 2 stepping it in.
Him being down on the block is all sorts of no bueno.

spurs were a top conteder during duncan’s 19 year career but managed to get a star free agent only once (aldridge. Unless you consider jefferson a big signing) .

giannis isnt chasing a ring. He already had one.

    We traded for RJ though.

It's actually pretty interesting to look back at Jefferson's transaction history and look at the bums he was traded for.

The useless counting stats you refer to were three guys who scored 1000, dimed 500, and grabbed 500 boards:

    Bron
    Jokic
    Giddey
Precisely. Caruso averaged 7, 3 and 3. And Caruso is a better player than Giddey.
