First look at Harper. I haven't been this excited about a summer league in a while.
Wonder how much Dylan Harper we'll get to see.
IIRC, we got 2 games of Wemby and 3 games of Castle in SL, right?
Can't wait for Vegas.
Can't wait to see Topic cuz I love him as a player (but I'll definitely have mixed emotions).
Was Topic the dude with the giraffe neck?
Exciting!!! Would love to make the trip, but, can't.
I wonder how many rookies we'll be sending.
damn ill go buy tickets
3 rising stars and a nepo baby.
I’d say since Kawhi… although Harper looks more polished. Son of a baller.
With Wemby we had a reasonably idea to what expect.
USC’s Chibuzo Agbo has committed to play Summer League with the San Antonio Spurs, per source. The 6-foot-7 wing averaged 12 points and shot 40 percent from three last season.
Patiently waiting for a mobile big player to commit to play with the San Antonio Spurs tbh.
LSU’s Cam Carter is joining the San Antonio Spurs for Summer League, league sources say. Carter, represented by @OctagonBsktball, worked out for several teams during the pre-draft process.
none so far.
Spurs Summer league Roster
Confirmed:
Dylan Harper, Guard
Carter Bryant, Forward
Cam Carter, Guard
Chibuzo Agbo, Forward
Probable:
Harrison Ingram, Forward
Riley Minix, Forward
David Duke Jr, Guard
Jameer Nelson Jr, Guard
Ibrahima Diablo, Center
Malachi Flynn, Guard
Maybe so maybe not:
Juan Nunez, Guard
Nate Mensah, Center
Jamaree Bouyea, Guard
Highly Unlikely/Probably not but you never know:
Stephon Castle
Really looking forward to seeing Ingram and Minix.
Jamaree Bouyea has been a two-way player for the Bucks since the middle of last season.
Flynn has signed with a Turkish club.
Mensah is confirmed joining the Spurs SL after quite an adventure in Europe and Israel.
Nunez had surgery for a torn meniscus in March.
Nelson is a bit of a head scratcher. He's still playing in the Canadian league (CEBL, which might be the best "regular basketball" men's spring-summer pro league ever -- low bar) while other G-League vets have been temporarily released to participate in mini-camps, etc. Kyle Mangas and Osayi Osifo have been so released; I would put them in the "probable" category.

They shut Castle down early last summer like they always do with their cherished picks -- if he's in Vegas he'll be in street clothes.
The real question is Harper cuz he'll probably get shut down early too.
Better be there on July 10 to be sure.
West Fargo Sheyenne's Jacksen Moni set to play Summer League for San Antonio Spurs
This Jacksen Moni guy is interesting. Will have to watch some tape on him.

Thanks for the list.
The rookie of the year doesn't need to play Summer League. Nothing for Steph to gain there.

I went and watched a game in Austin last year. Ingram was effectively invisible.
I like him a lot as a person, but he doesn't appear to be a viable NBA prospect.
Hopefully I'm wrong. It's a very small sample size. But against the low compe ion of the G-League you'd hope he stood out at least somewhat to have any hope in the big league.
