Well, fortunately my mom did Part G instead, couldn't get Part F which was terminated at the beginning of Covid. We looked into Part C advantage plans and decided they'd all be HDHP type of scams. I've been long on the record for a decade on this message board to be very much anti- patient pay healthcare (US system) and I'm among quite a handful of young (millennial and gen Z) MAGA-leaning populists who stand in favor of Luigi, to the dismay of our parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents etc. The boomercons like Sean Hannity of course cater to old boomercons so they're going to make Luigi out to be Osama or something when he's not.
But, how specifically did Bush change it to be more of a windfall in favor of insurance pigs? Your statistic is non sequitur and just indicates that people adopted it later which is natural, just like the % of people with Obamacare went up during Trump and Biden's regimes rather than Obama's, even though Obama, Pelosi, Reid etc started it under Obama's watch.

It would make much more sense for a Trump thumper or right-winger in general to target someone like Lisa Murkowski or even a Mitch McConnell type (not Susan Collins, she'd be replaced by a democrat in a special election) who is actually a threat to the bottom line and can be upgraded pretty easily in MAGA circles in a special election (maybe take out someone like Marcy Kaptur if you can, some blue voting democrat congress in bent in a deep red district that would be instantly replaced by a Republican flip....) rather than these pawns on the chess board at the state level in deep blue state districts who will be replaced by equally or more liberal replacements. Like killing the head of, say, an Islamic terrorist ring, you really think the deceased's replacement won't be just as bad and just as aligned with who you assassinated? Same concept........ too stupid to imagine.

Because now Medicare Advantage scammers are able to get paid by how risky their marks er customers are, so they juice those numbers to and use them to rob the government blind. It's why doctors who work for United Healthcare have these long checklists of things they're required to check their Medicare Advantage patients for so United Healthcare can pump up the risk factor of their customer base.
Also there was no point of Medicare Part F at the end anyways. The whole point of getting Medicare F was you couldn't be charged a premium based on age but if you enrolled in Medicare Part F the last year allowed well you're paying more early on as your premium is averaged with older people in your zip code but you'll never have any younger people to average with to keep your premiums in check later on. It's why I had my mom sign up for Part G instead.
